He was the main songwriter and lead vocalist of one of the most underrated bands ever, Talk Talk. Probably their most famous hit was It’s my Life but I was always a sucker for Life’s What you Make It. linkRIP

I admit I'm not fully familiar with their stuff.. However I have heard a bit when having Radio 6 on in the Car.
One song I liked was the self titled "Talk Talk".. I remember thinking it was Duran Duran first until Chris Hawkins said so.

Talk Talk were one of those bands who have an absolutely timeless quality about them, their music as strong now as it was in the 80s. I was still hoping they'd reform some day and continue with their trademark brand of catchy electronic misery... But it's not to be.
