I think more so I like Naito just saying they all can leave but Hiromu comes back like i'm not leaving and Naito just shrugs and says f*** it lol Get a new group with Naito/Hiromu finding new members for LIJ while Shingo, Bushi, Sanada and Evil all go about their own business Yeah not to harp on about it or get sentimental, but Hiromu's quote makes me think he and Naito can never be at odds lol. "Even now I won't forget this. When I was a trainee, no matter what I did, everything was crap and I just couldn't perform at the required level. It pissed me off every single day and it continued for a while. Then one day, in the dojo, someone said to me "If it's okay with you, I'm gonna teach you to wrestle." If those words hadn't been said, I would never have debuted. And who was that person, who put his time and faith in me and said those words? Naito." I never knew that. That's pretty dope Naito took him to the side and mentored him in that way. Essentially, a kindred spirit he can see struggling and just need a boost. I'm sure it must hurt Naito that Hiromu broke his neck and we have really no idea if he can come back but we are getting closer to that year timeline he was supposed to be out. Just makes me more want to have Naito win the title at WK and when he does the roll call he stops to pause and Hiromu comes out to complete the circle

Quite the main event today.
Love that I have tomorrow off. Makes watching easier. Can't wait for Moxley/Ishii.

I'm thinking Takahashi shows up again at the G1 Final. Naito wins the trophy and reiterates his intentions of being the first dual IC/HW Champion, and just as he goes to sign off Hiromu rejoins the group putting LIJ in full force with its 6 members for the first time ever.

One of my friends is just now getting into NJPW due to Jon Moxley, so I spent like 15 minutes explaining LIJ's origin, and most importantly, who Daryl is. Now she's super excited for whenever Takahashi returns.

Jay White joins the 0-3 club with a loss to Yano. Which also means Jay White is now 0-3 against CHAOS members.

Jay White joins the 0-3 club with a loss to Yano. Which also means Jay White is now 0-3 against CHAOS members. That is surprising Thought he would start to run the table after his 0-2 start but their is always the chance that B block doesn't need a ton of points this year to get the nod

Moxley wins and is now the only person left undefeated in B Block. CLearly this is all leading to Moxley winning it all and then putting on a bullet club t-shirt But if Naito isnt winning block B I can see Moxley in the finals.

How do people who work full time find time to keep up with the G1? I’m at least 2 nights behind.

How do people who work full time find time to keep up with the G1? I’m at least 2 nights behind. By trying to sneak watch it at work or catching the show later when I got time if I missed it If you could help it, you will want to stay within 2 shows so never really missing multiple A and B block shows in multiple sessions. Once you start doing that you're not going to want to watch the old shows

It's weird. I can mostly keep up with BoSJ, but I can't keep up with G1.

I'm so behind on this right now, but I'll be sure to check out Moxley/Ishii. That sounds like it was an absolute war, as I expected it would be.

Haven't read any comments yet (to avoid spoilers as I type this), but I loved Shingo/Taichi. That was two (old) young guns battling to show they belong in the G1. Props to both men, and this is a future NEVER title match in my opinion. Hell, make the WK match a triple-threat with Ishii.
Juice/Cobb didn't 100% click for me, but I liked the effort. Actually surprised Cobb won even with his 0-2 start, but it reminded me of how Omega had that G1 when he only put over Juice and Elgin in his block.
Welp, didn't see Yano beating White. Didn't mind it, but now Jay has to go undefeated to match his total last year of 12 points.
Great closing stretch in Naito/Goto, which was miles better than their WK match a few years back.
So that was Moxley's best match in... years. What a slugfest that definitely lived up to the hype. Not much else to say, so I'll shine a spotlight on father and son Umino. Shout-out to Red Shoes for scolding the crowd during a Moxley chant, and to Shooter for getting more and more into the role during Mox's entrance.
