Summer of Punk 2011. Just depressing. It could have been so great. Have him gone for the entire summer. Show up at various indies, and air the footage, almost like the nWo paid advertisements. Let them do the interim title all summer and have him come back at Summerslam or the night after.

I honestly think AJ and Paige just had no chemistry and even if they were given something good, they couldn't have made it work. I don’t think of it like that. The way I see it, this was the first women’s feud to ever get a ‘this is awesome’ chant. They must have been the first women in years to get dueling name chants. Yeah, sure. Maybe they didn’t have the best chemistry. The extent of that is debatable. But it doesn’t change the fact that WWE, champion of women everywhere, saw a hot feud between two women and diminished right out of the gate. Maybe their matches would have been better if the company were more invested in their success. The feud was horribly booked. I am not disputing that. It never got passed 2nd gear and it went nowhere and ended up just being the vehicle for Nikki Bella's title reign. But, I believe that good chemistry can overcome bad booking and they couldn't do that. Not a knock on either woman, I'm a fan of both of them. Just one of those times where you expect 2 people to have amazing chemistry and it just didn't happen.

Most recent for me would be Braun Strowman. Look at him last year and look at him now. Last year, he was one of the most over guys in the company and the back up plan for the WrestleMania main event. Numerous manhandlings by Brock Lesnar and one unnecessary Heel turn later ( heel turn that didn't need to happen), a rushed Face turn (again, should have just remained Face) followed by a feud with Corbin/Lashley/McIntyre, and now he's in the meaningless battle royal at this year's WrestleMania.

Almost everyone on the main roster for the past decade.

Punk is the biggest one. They lucked into the hottest angle in years and Punk could have been HUGE but everything after ruined it.

Sheamus' final pseudo-main event run, in 2015. Comes back with a badass new look and theme, within a month he's in a gimmick match based around the fact that he pronounces ass like arse. Which he loses. To Dolph Ziggler. He proceeds to lose to basically everyone else for most of the year, wins MitB anyway, keeps losing, wins the WWE championship a couple segments after he's played off as a pathetic loser getting mocked by the New Day, ends literally every segment of his title reign getting effortlessly annihilated and laid out by Roman Reigns, then drops the title and never goes anywhere again.
Even more than anything from his jokester babyface period, this felt like the nail in the coffin of him ever actually reaching his potential in WWE. Was around when I stopped following the product except for the occasional big show.

Tyler Breeze Samoa Joe The Broken Hardys Lashley The way they called up Ricochet, Black and Lacey Evans. God the list goes on. I still don't get the Black/Ricochet pairing. I don't completely hate it because they work well together, but out of all the call ups they were going to have the easiest time getting over as singles stars on the main roster IMO.

It has to be Ryder for me. Dude worked his ass off to make a name for himself and got over, and then they killed everything he did. After that I have never been surprised when they f***ed up somebody else's push.

Nexus losing at Summerslam 2010. To this day it kinda hurts my interest in wrestling, I was watching a lot at the time.

Rusev: The whole Rusev Day thing was amazing and extremely over. What they do? They job him, turn him, and refuse to ever push this man only because He married Lana. That screwed up a lame ass angle years ago. Because personal happiness I guess ins't allowed. Why would WWE want to prevent him from marrying Lana?

Summer of Punk 2011. Just depressing. How the hell did that feud end up as hhh vs Nash again?

Nexus getting bitched out dissapointed me a lot but I remained a fan because at least we got Bryan out of it.
Summer of Punk infuriated me because the biggest and first mainstream star in a decade was fed to the son in law for no reason, still I endured because Punk became a great heel with Heyman.
Ryback turning into a coward took all the air out of me and I stopped believing in the program. I just watched raw and Smackdown out of force of habit, Bryan becoming the man got me hooked again but it didn’t lasted because of injury so I kept watching just because my brain was conditioned to do it.
Then last year something broke that will never be fixed once Braun was turned heel. I quit watching completely. I only know about what happens because of FAN. I stopped watching wrestling as a whole, I just listen to the lapsed fan and sometimes to the STWW podcast.
I’m glad that it seems that Becky might be the first real female headliner for the wwe, that she’s booked on top even above the men and that she may close wm, I’m happy that it seems that Kofi might get a shot and finally reach the main event status that his feud with Orton derailed a decade ago. I’m happy that after twenty years there might be legit competition to the wwe, but I just don’t care anymore, there was no need to destroy Braun.

Rumor and innuendo was that Vince didn’t like the fact that Rusev was able to score such a beautiful woman, like he thought it was wrong so that’s why they had the horrible angle with Ziggler and Summer.

Rusev Day, mainly because I'm a big Aiden English fan. I think he's incredibly talented and versatile, but I figured he'd never really get a chance to do much of importance. Probably be that way from now on.

The most recent one for me is Samoa Joe.
He, at one time, was considered the very best wrestler in the world. He is a complete badass in ring and gets treated like he’s some sort of bitch.
The only reason he still comes across as that guy who will completely beat your ass and live every second of it, is because of his superior mic skills. If he wasn’t so good in that area, WWE would have ruined him completely.
Joe is going to be over no matter what, but he could have came in and in a very short time, become the Big Bad of his brand and has an amazing title run on Smackdown considering the talent there.

Summer of Punk 2011. Just depressing. Yup. I was pumped. I figured this was too easy. No way to f*** it up. All he had to do was leave and make a few Indy shots with the belt. Gotta admit, never saw a Triple H v. Nash ladder match being the conclusion.
