Almost anyone called up from NXT. Seriously they call themselves a developmental brand but I can't count on a single hand the amount of stars that have come out of it within the past few years that have had good main roster booking. Ironically the ones that go under the radar like Elias and Bliss have had the most success, but even Elias is still treated like a damn joke most of the time.
Seriously think about every Non-Seth Rollins NXT Champion there has been and look at their WWE Main Roster run. You could argue the one that has been the most successful has been Balor, and considering how they've treated him post-injury it's quite pathetic.
Same can be said for every Non-Horsewoman Girl they look at as well. Even Asuka is constantly treated like an afterthought. Seriously name any Non-Royal Rumble result where Asuka has looked good. Lost to Charlotte at Mania, looked like an idiot vs Carmella of all people for MONTHS, and now that she finally has a title she's a damn afterthought, it's insanity.
Look at the most recent examples of NXT callups who have literally been called up out of sheer emergency and none of them are ready. None of them are even getting SCREENTIME. Lars never debuted, EC3 is a mute jobber treated like a joke, Heavy Machinery are treated like an undercard joke, and Lacey Evans WALKS PLACES. Hell even the top tier guys who were called up (Before Ciampa got hurt which has made Gargano's callup moot, probably good luck for him) in Black and Ricochet have been treated pretty shit. Yeah they're winning matches but they have literally no character, they just come out and hit moves and leave and their only trait is they were in NXT, it's literally holding them together like glue for this useless tag team, which speaking of, yeah, Revival, another NXT Great completely killed on the Main Roster, but they did get hurt twice, didn't help, but the booking has done SHIT to try and recover them or even make them look interesting, even with THE BELTS!
Overall I think NXT when it comes to calling guys up is an absolute failure and it saddens me when I see great stars like Velveteen Dream because I feel they have almost no chance whatsoever at staying over from their NXT hype or even being USED on this cluttered and useless main roster. It's basically a joke at this point, and it shows how absolutely broken WWE's system is.
