Larry Walker is in. Bonds, Clemens, Schilling, Manny aren't.
The WWE HOF is more legit

I think A-Rod gets in because of his public image rehab tour since he retired. Maybe not first ballot, but he's become a media darling with his ESPN and Fox stints. Also JLo will personally destroy the writers who don't vote him in.

His lowest percentage I think was like 30 something a few years ago. He had a big come up Career .313/.400 hitter, no PED rumors. If he ain't what BWAA was looking for from this era, I don't know who is. Some years I think they get off on how few people they let in. Well they wanted to use the Coors Field BS aspect for him to say "inflated numbers"

Larry Walker is in. Bonds, Clemens, Schilling, Manny aren't. The WWE HOF is more legit Manny got popped twice after they started testing tho which also includes him getting popped before Add on his on field antics, he was going to have to wait probably a year to get in but with 2 official suspensions on his ledger, he probably won't get in

Marcel Ozuna to the Braves on a 1 year, 18 million dollar deal: Could be a steal if he performs to task

Ozuna is streaky and a laughable fielder. That's about right for him on a 1-year deal.

So the guy who didn't vote in Jeter is some chucklef*** from Barstool. Idiot Probably some BS reasoning like Babe Ruth didn't get in 100% or Jeter wasn't as great as his numbers says he is. I forgot the BS reasoning someone gave for not giving Griffey unanimous

How did Walker get this sudden surge of votes? Numbers being more under a microscope over the last few years and usually you see big surges but this is def a big surge In 2018 he was at 34.1%

My issue with penalizing guys for Steroids or suspicion of being on them is that the BBWAA consists mostly of guys who ignored the steroid era as it happened. MaGwire and Sosa were 'roided out of their minds during the much celebrated HR chase in the Summer of 98, that many credit with saving the game following the 94 strike/WS cancellation.
It's phony as f***.

There is line they aren't willing to cross tho If you openly admitted to using steroids your whole career like Big Mac or were proven to your whole career like Sosa then you almost DQ yourself. Players under suspicion will get the benefit but in the "after PED" era we are in now, you don't the benefit. People can justify A Rod because of only one "official" suspension. Manny got two suspensions after he got a pass for the steroid era. Ortiz will get a pass because he stayed clean for the rest of his career. Meanwhile Bonds and Clemens will get justifications of they were HOF's before they got on the gas

Only when public sentiment dictated so, they decided to clutch their pearls and hit the nearest fainting couches. Most of the damn league was on something during the last 90's/early 00's. You can't just decidenow that you're going to arbitrarily decide certain guys should be punished for it.

I'm amazed Hensley Muelens hasn't been hired as a manager. Unless you count the fan service and media pandering to give the job to Jason Varitek. I hate this idea. You wanna make him the bench coach? Knock yourselves out. But he hasn't managed a single game in his life. Now is not the time to get cute.

Is whoever didn't vote for Jeter an idiot? Absolutely. But he is also low on the list for me of dudes who should have gotten a unanimous vote. He had a HOF career, but so did a ton of other dudes who deserved it a lot more.

You can't just decidenow that you're going to arbitrarily decide certain guys should be punished for it. That's MLB tho. They like to act like the ugliness in their history never happened and baseball is as pure as morning snow Don't get me wrong I agree with you, it is 100% BS. However, I do fall in line with certain things in regards to voting. Guys like Manny f***ed themselves over and same with Sosa and Mac If you're under suspicion but it isn't proven, i'm fine with people getting in. Same with only failed test in the "current era"

The fact that Barry Bonds is not in still pisses me off. He was a HOF before roids, and there are so many players who took PED's and never hit as well as Bonds did. Stop the nonsense and put him in. I feel like when the voters start getting younger, things will start to make more sense. The old heads are stuck in their ways.
As far as Jeter, it's kind of ridiculous that one person didn't vote him in, but at the same time, he wasn't the GOAT at his position. Rivera was. So in that sense, it's not bad. But yeah, MLB voting is stupid either way.

So the guy who didn't vote in Jeter is some chucklef*** from Barstool. I hear if you do an interview with Barstool and your meaty hands mash on the keys with no complete sentences you're actually turned down for being overqualified
