What a bunch of dicks WWE is being here.
You know, I love how whenever stories like this break, there's always a bunch of guys who leap at the chance to prove they are so much better than the plebe sheeple at thinking logically and decide to shit on the guy getting screwed over. I'm sure they are tons of fun at parties and not miserable assholes.

Again, just because you have the money to KEEP people under contract doesn’t mean that you SHOULD do that. It benefits nobody, especially not your finances to pay someone to do nothing.

He’s the Vice President of talent relations so outside of Vince, he’s a massive part of things relating to that.

Remember guys, things will be better when HHH takes over. He's the one that's gonna lead us to the promised land.

They left out the part about Triple H throwing pocket sand in his eyes and running off.

So because Triple H screwed over 1 guy that means that everything else will be screwed too? The world doesn't work like that. No person is 100% good or bad. Triple H can make the entire brand stronger and still screw over a few people if so. That should be common sense lol.

This isn’t the WORST thing for Harper. A year to get himself in tip top shape, plan out his future, and build anticipation. He is basically going to be paid to go to the gym. Worked well for Neville.

I'd like to see what his ideas were for his character. I'd guess nearly all of them could have got over.

Its mind boggling that this company would rather pay him to stay at home for ages and not use him then to let him go and enjoy his career elsewhere.

Both guys have the power to do it.
Vince could very well go "Sure ,pal, here you go"

It’s weird that HHH ignored him since wasn’t there a story about Goldust asking for his release, Vince said no and HHH talked him into it and you knew he was going straight for a high profile AEW match whereas Luke might but might not

Neville's body was a lot less beat up, though. Harper has a few good years left before his body starts betraying him. Wasting one of those years sitting at home sucks.

Harper is 39. This is exactly what WCW did, during the Monday Night Wars. It worked really well. I'd like to see what his ideas were for his character. I'd guess nearly all of them could have got over. People used to say the same about Damien Sandow.

Honestly, I feel like they cycled through the Shield/Wyatts feud too quickly. Hearing the reaction those six guys got merely being in the same ring together should have told someone that they could have slowed the blow-off. No reason they couldn't have taken months to work through it and get all six more over.

I'm confused...how difficult is it to get fired from WWE. What if he just showed up in another promotion's show? Would they release then? How about if he leaked naked pictures of himself or (falsely) confessed to having a drug problem. Or even just went into Vince's office and pee'd on his desk. It seems to me like if someone wants to get fired, that's the easy part. Now I just have an image in my head of Harper and the Revival just standing in Triple H's office tweeting slurs until they get thrown out. I'm amazed nobody has tried this yet. 'All of the WWE universe are SOBs.'

No reason they couldn't have taken months to work through it and get all six more over. Don't forget in 2014, The Shield, white hot as faces, got to take on Corporate Kane and The New Age Outlaws in a squash match at 'Mania, while Bray lost to Jern and he and his crew were made to look like straight up bitches against Cena in that abortion of a cage match a month later. The Shield vs The Wyatt Family should have been on the WM30 card.
