After looking through the Ambrose thread. It got me thinking Who had the worse sendoff? I don't mean people who were just quietly released and never seen again. I mean people who were let go on TV and actually were gone from the roster afterwards. I'd say Lita's was pretty bad with Cryme Tyme stealing her stuff to auction off. www.youtube.com/watch?v=_snB7NVrnPw

The Spirit Squad got literally boxed up and sent back to OVW, right?

Jim Neidhart's by DX was pretty brutal as I recall.

IMO, nothing tops DX literally packing the Spirit Squad into a box and shipping them to OVW.

Bret, by far. Between Montreal, the skit with the little person on RAW, and Vince McMahon’s “Bret screwed Bret” interview, the spitefulness was just off the scale.

And how for years they kept reminding everyone about. Repeating screw jobs as angles and every time they where in Montreal there had to been something said.

I have little sympathy there considering Bret himself was involved in 2 angles that touched on it while in WCW

Jim Neidhart's by DX was pretty brutal as I recall. I hated that. What a humiliating end for the Hart Foundation. But as I understand it, Jim was told it was what he needed to do to get his release, so he just said 'screw it, fine'. This was on top of the Screwjob, mocking Bret with the little person, and DX victimising and making a fool of Owen for months afterwards. Lest anyone ever need a reminder of the dickishness of 90s HBK and Triple H.

Lita’s was disgusting.
A heel going out humiliated is one thing, but selling off her possessions that consisted of yeast infection cream, her panties and a dildo, while continuing to call her a slut (JBL remarking “I’m the only man in America who doesn’t have a pair of her panties”) is something entirely different.
The woman worked her way back from a broken neck for you, she tore apart her acl for you, allowed her private affairs to be made into television for you and begged you not to have that be her goodbye...shame on WWE for doing that

Lita's gotta be up there... I mean I get it she was a heel and humiliating the heel on the way out happens.... like Jericho's first break being dragged out kicking and screaming...
but Lita supposedly wasn't told about the Cryme Time thing before hand.

Wasn't exactly intended to be a sendoff since he quit for wellness reasons but the last days of Booker's run were pretty damn rough. After he lost the World title he drifted for months with no real direction, then he had an awful Jerry Lawler feud where he was constantly getting shown up by him for some reason to lead into a Triple H match that he naturally lost, then he lost to Cena by DQ and that was the end of that.

I nominate a new contender: Bischoff was literally dragged from the arena via garbage truck on his way out
