Too bad. He was helping Bob to not be the dullest guy ever.

Guys like Lio have it rough in wrestling today; used to be people hated annoying dudes like him but they also hated everyone else because everyone was ten kinds of f***ed up. Now everyone's chill and gets along, and people still hate dudes like him.

What are these guys supposed to do? People get heat for not having enough confidence, they get heat for having too much confidence. Trying to grab the brass ring, not trying to grab the brass ring. It's a minefield. There is a line between being confident and blowing off talent and thinking you should main event RAW. Becky's Rise is partially because she acted like she deserved to be the best for example. To compare with Enzo again ,he was never "big headed" in the sense that he should be the top act and too good for small roles but always acted like he was worth the money. And then he f***ed everything up by being stupid. The Brass Ring is a joke but I dont think thats the case here.He didnt do anything yet to act like he deserves more like Neville.

Could be over for ol Lio. As dumb and cruel as some of the initiation/hazing stories we've heard about over the years, handing out water bottles and carrying coolers seems pretty civilised. If Rush can't show that sort of respect to colleagues who have been doing this on the big stage longer than him, then I can see why they'd be pissed off when he then shoots his mouth about what a big deal he is. Expect to see him in a town armory in the not too distant future.

Aleister Black did that role in the early 2018 European Tour, this also includes tidying up the locker room when clearing out after shows. Roman Reigns actually excused him from that role because he felt Black was too tenured and respected to be doing it. Wouldn't be surprised if Rush was made to do it again on the next tour.

I'm sure Emma is warming up her Twitter as we speak. I'm typically not big on someone mocking someone else for getting fired, but if there was ever a time for it to happen.

The rookie has to carry equipment, tidy up, and fetch water or Gatorade. This is nothing bad to do.

Ugh. Yeah, awesome, no one's cornering anyone in a shower stall. Hooray, WWE, you get a cookie. It's still bullshit. He's hired as a performer. Unless handing out water bottles is in his goddamn contract, then he should be expected to devote his time to performing or things that will improve his performing. If he doesn't have any duties at the moment regarding what he was actually hired for, then he's got time off. This is a nonsensical, made-up thing that has no practical benefit and solely exists as some kind of arbitrary symbol and these guys should all know better. Worst part, this is just the kind of shit that perpetuates the crappy treatment of wrestlers by the company. Vince doesn't have to make sure his performers are provided with water as needed, because they'll make the newbies do it! The more you enforce these things among one another, the less you're making entirely reasonable demands to management.

Lio bringing randos backstage unapproved?
Sounds like we've got a budding Enzo 2.0, folks.

The more you enforce these things among one another, the less you're making entirely reasonable demands to management. I think it's more about building camaraderie between workers who are trusting their lives to each other every day on the job. Especially something like water cooler duty which is not physically demanding nor expensive (I will disagree with a rookie forcing to pay $100,000 on a night out). It's also not like they targeted Lio since it's all rookies that are encouraged to do it to pay some dues.

So...I get Lio's perspective. You a grown ass adult that's on the roster like everybody else, ain't no f***ing reason you should be handing out water bottles to folks.
At the same time, dude, you gotta learn to pick your battles. Yeah, it's bullshit. It's also bullshit that virtually everybody else on this roster has done at some point. Every organization has their own little rituals and traditions. Either fall in or find a new group. It's unfortunate but that's the reality of the situation.
Lio's a young dude so I'm sure he'll get another chance in the E at some point but history indicates that he's just about to flame out on this run.
