Having met Lio. He is a good kid, but I think he got too much too fast and also listens to the wrong people

Playing rugby as a kid we had similar things. All the substitutes were expected to bring water on for the team at any extended stoppage. The younger players put the kit etc on the team bus, and in exchange they were looked after by the older players who showed them the lay of the land, made sure they had kit laid out too in the locker room.
It went further too. We're talking kids from 6-16 all training and playing at the same time on the weekend. Prior to training/playing everyone convened at the club, and the younger lads were shown what was what, in exchange for being looked after elsewhere, making sure noone took liberties.
Done right it creates an atmosphere of trust and good feeling. Even if someone rubs you the wrong way, inevitable it will happen, if someone is doing the right things, when it comes down to it, you overlook the personality clash because you know they fill their role.
I remember one kid pouting because he didn't start a match and refusing to bring on water bottles with rest of the substitutes. Even the opposition thought he was a dick because of the attitude.
