Who was the best James Bond? I re watched Goldeneye yesterday and its still awesome and by far my favourite so the Irish man gets my vote.
How about you? Is it the Scotsman? The Australian? The Englishman? The Welsh man? The afore-mentioned Irish man? Or the other English bloke?
Also Brosnan is the most handsome by a mile.
If Pierce Brosnan doesn't win this poll then I'll be forced to ban GizzarkHenry from the forum again.

Yeah. Honestly yeah.
None of them were terrible, they all acted the part well more or less. But by far Pierce Brosnan's incredibly suave look made him the best one.

I think he is the most underrated Bond, maybe.

I am voting Pierce because he was the Bond during time I was starting to watch it and Of course Goldeneye was a big deal not just the movie but the game. That Game was a big part of my Junior High into High School years, more so the Multi player. So yeah a special place for that. I have seen a few from before him but Pierce was the Guy most of the time I can remember.

I agree he is the best Bond but Moore is the one IMO with the most enjoyable set of movies.
Live and Let die Man with the golden gun for your eyes only Spy who loved me Octopussy
With MoonRaker and View to a kill not quite being up to snuff with the above but still enjoyable in that...WTF is going on mindset while watching them.

Honestly the they are all pretty great, and each one is such a different take on Bond it is hard to compare them.
I like the grittier colder Daniel Craig version because he reminds me of the books (only read a couple of them, but they were great).
Brosnan is an absurd level of suave though, and no slouch in the violence department.
I'd put them in a near tie, then Connery, then Moore, then Dalton and Lazenby (both were just less memorable and had fewer films, but neither were bad)

Brosnan may not have had the best Bond movies, but he's my favorite Bond. best gun barrel, he's fun when he wants to be, serious when he needs to be, and i loved his relationship with Q. intentionally bugs the shit out of him but deep down he loves him. one of my favorite exchanges in the whole franchises:

Ugh first third of Die Another Day, when he's rouge, its very interesting and has a lot of possibilities last two thirds, after we meet the bad guy and Bond becomes a secret Secret Agent...ugh

Nope. He was in one good Bond film, one meh Bond film, one terrible Bond film and the absolute worst Bond film. For all the Lazenby hate, his defence is that he was in the best Bond film ever. No other Bond has been in films so atrocious, they had no choice but to reboot the whole series, so for my money, Brosnan is the worst.

Ugh The World is not Enough is the one where he removed a control rod from a nuclear reactor...with his bare hands...in order to prevent the reactor from "going critical". I am someone who was qualified to operate nuclear reactors, and this could not be any more wrong in a more ludicrous fashion! It gave me a headache and made me yell at the screen!! I mean, Denise Richards is a nuclear scientist?! Maybe, that's just me.

Naw Die another Day is atrocious BUT it aint the worst...it even has the redeeming car chase on the ice so it has something even just 1 good thing about it. But It aint the worst if one has never watched or even heard of NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN (can't blame them for either) No other bond has a film ANYWHERE close to that shit...and that one belongs to Connery

It’s just a piss-poor remake of Thunderball.

And even so, Never Say Never Again doesn’t have an invisible car, Bond out-surfing a Tsunami, a terrible Madonna cameo or a character kicking a knife into a chest whilst calling her a bitch.

It may not be part of the official series but it is still regarded as a Bond film...it has the title character of James Bond. And all of those you mentioned...can still be forgiven(exccept the atrocious madonna song) Because none of them having BOND FACING THE VILLAN IN A GAWD DAMN VIDEO GAME DUEL!

My personal favorite has become Roger Moore over time. He was arguably the most distinguished Bond, more upbeat than Craig and not as bloodthirsty as Dalton. He’s also better with the women than Connery.
Octopussy is pretty meh, but The Spy Who Loved Me and For Your Eyes Only Rock.

An invisible car is worse. Bond’s gadgets just about stayed in the realm of believable, the car was one step too far. The CGI was terrible too, which considering it’s one of the most expensive films ever, is unforgivable. As for Never Say Never Again, yes, it may have Bond as the main character but it’s not canon. To me it’s like Casino Royale 1967, not official, therefore not real Bond, so I never include it in polls and such. And even if it was, I still think it’s better than Die Another Day. There is one redeeming feature of that film and it’s Rosamund Pike.
