RAW is in Cincinnati tonight, the home of a man who escaped their "prison", and on this evening's show, that man's former "brother" will cause WWE quite the problem...
This weekend, Roman Reigns posted a tweet saying that he had unfinished business on RAW, and would be returning this week to finish it. WWE then posted in response, saying that as Reigns is contracted to SmackDown Live, he will not be allowed to appear on RAW. In response, Reigns publicly defied WWE orders, saying he will start the show at 8pm. As it seemed that The Big Dog had tied up all loose ends before going to SmackDown, what purpose has driven him to need to return to the Red Brand (other than the need for ratings of course)?
We found out RAW's participants in the two Money In The Bank ladder matches last week - for the men, it's Braun Strowman, Ricochet, Baron Corbin and Drew McIntyre, while the women will have Naomi, Natalya, Alexa Bliss and Dana Brooke. Will alliances be formed ahead of May 19th, or will it be all out war?
AJ Styles has the upper hand in the build to his match with Universal Champion Seth Rollins at Money In The Bank, putting the champion through a table with the Phenomenal Forearm at the end of their contract signing. Rollins won't take kindly to that, will he be seeking payback tonight?
The pressure of defending two titles might already be getting to Becky Lynch. While Charlotte Flair has been getting the upper hand on SmackDown Live, Lacey Evans has started to gain confidence ahead of her RAW Women's Championship match, as she handled herself well in a brawl last week when previously she had only attacked Becky from behind. Will The Man find an answer for the Sassy Southern Belle tonight?
Much has been made of the news that The Revival turned down five year, $500,000 a year contracts. In response, WWE showed them shaving each other's backs on RAW last week, supposedly to humiliate them. The official preview on the WWE website hinted at more humiliations to come, so yeah, we know what kind of company they are... either way, The Usos appear to be the beneficiaries.
Rey Mysterio got a small amount of revenge for his quick loss to Samoa Joe for the United States Title at WrestleMania, defeating Joe in a non title match last week. Mysterio just celebrated 30 years in professional wrestling this week, can he cap it off by securing another match for the US Title?
All this and much more tonight from 8/7c on USA!
