OK whew. Yeah, the whole clone saga confused the HELL out of me when I was younger. Thank you. Oh, it wasnt just used. Maximum Clonage and Maximum Carnage nearly killed the Spidey franchise, really. Comics were real popular in the 90s, but they sure as hell werent GOOD.

It was an interesting setup. I liked how for the time being it's really shaken up Marvel's status quo, and I disagree with others who seem to think it made Iron Man a villain.. it's more like there was two valid points of view ( Cap's and Tony's) that were diametrically opposed, and Cap tended to take the more idealistic approach ( which makes sense as he's the personified American Dream) while Tony took the more pragmatic view ( again fitting in with the archetype of his character). Should be interesting to see how things change. I am curious on how whoever is in charge of the Spidey books when the time comes at whatever point in the future is gonna be able to put the 'genie back in the bottle' in regards to his secret identity.
I'd also love to dig up the old thread from over a year ago where people were moaning abou the 'new' Spidey costume when I said " Don't get in a tizzy, it's gonna serve its purpose in the Civil War storyline you watch, and I guarantee it'll be gone before the next flick comes out". Lil self congratulaion- I TOLDJA SO.
Hey Madison, Marvel isn't gonna go the DC route with weekly books soon is it? I posted a topic somewhere in the next couple pages, but they're apparently following 52 up IMMEDIATELY with another year long saga.

And Ultimate Hulk Vs. Wolverine. And Onslaught Reborn. And The Last Galactus Story. And Spider-Man/Black Cat: The Evil that Men Do. Oh, we got that one? Nevermind then.

Ok, since this seemed to be a pretty good thread and people are willing to tell me stuff:
Toxin.
I read the Venom v. Carnage series and I thought that Toxin was pretty cool, I'm a mark for the symbiotes in general, and I know afterwards he got his own little miniseries. I guess the question is simply:
Has he made any appearances since then? Or did he just kind of fade into obscurity?

Also, srsly, yall should clickify that link I dropped, its good stuff.

Read X-Factor, or Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Young Avengers, New Avengers, Mighty Avengers, read the good stuff. New Avengers!? GOOD!? You're on crack dude. I'd recommend anything by Ed Brubaker, Warren Ellis and Matt Fraction, myself, even if it has to do with Civil War. The individual stories were more awesome than the actual event. EDIT : Toxin faded into obscurity. A shame, really.

In any case, it doesnt matter, really, what you're reading, as long as you like it. All I'm trying to do is get people to go and find something they like.

World War Hulk: aka, Hulk comes back and EVERYONE IS WAXED.
I somehow see the Illuminati using the Infinity Gauntlet against him though.
