Raptors improve to 6-2 but Lowry fractures his thumb and Ibaka hurts his ankle in the same game. If Lowry is out for something like 6-8 weeks, the Raptors might fall off hard. Siakam and OG are having breakout years but Lowry is the engine. Sucks. Spicy P is looking like a Giannis clone That dude has been even better than expected I've been telling y'all.

I couldn’t help but notice last night the beautiful offensive unicorn who left Sacramento because the Kings were holding him back scored an entire 4 points out of the Warriors 119. Lmao

Hopefully the Celtics hold on here but it's a costly game. Gordon Hayward fractured his hand and just now Marcus Smart just limped off the court.

Folks should enjoy the Warriors being bad while they can It’s a one season thing, they’ll nail their draft pick in their tank year, recoup some assets shipping off DLo, and be more than fine next year and beyond.

Gordon Hayward will have his fractured left hand looked at by a specialist Monday. If he needs surgery he will have it the same day. He could be out months.
This sucks. He was finally returning to his All-Star form. Good newd is it isn't his shooting hand. And it's still early so he has plenty of time to come back.

Can we now safely say I was 100% right from day 1 and the Kings were absolute idiots to pass on THE Luka Doncic?
Vlade skipped a generational talent for a guy who might be Chris Bosh in 3 years... if he ever stays healthy.

Not necessarily It wouldn't have been a good fit in terms of your two picks from the previous years. Fox needs the ball and Luka needs the ball. Someone was going to suffer and development was going to be slowed way down As seen with Dallas, Luka became the clear guy and DSJ became expendable despite being their main guy last year. In theory, would you have been comfortable losing Fox a year after you drafted him because if Luka played like this, Fox would have been expendable

And I still think they’d have been able to function, comparing Fox to DSJ is not a 1-to-1 comparison and if Fox is as good as everyone likes to think he’d be able to adapt to playing with a guy of Luka’s abilities. Luka is straight up generational... you just can’t skip him because your maybe eventually an All-Star point guard might not fit with him.

I don't disagree I think if the Kings could had their choice of Luka in the previous years draft instead of Fox they would had taken that plunge but they didn't want to be in a situation where Luka doesn't become good for years because he was overhyped or he's as good as advertised now and have to trade Fox Luka would been a great get and fix but it could also been another Cousins situation where you have a person stupid talented and can't fit them with the right pieces

You know how much I love that dude. Luka’s on another level. And when you’re a team as historically unfortunate as the Kings, you HAVE to for talent. Not for need. They had their chance to take the superstar that never in any other situation would come to Sac.., and they drafted the less talented less developed less ready big man that runs fast and jumps high. This decision will haunt the franchise for the rest of its existence. I almost wish they hadn’t jumped so high just so I could be stuck in my usual apathy instead of this horrible “what if” that will never ever disappear. If they were #3 and took Bags I’d be ecstatic even with the injuries. ((cut me off if I’m venturing too much into pity-posting.., this is tough to talk about without sounding to whiny))

((Again, cut me off if I’m venturing too much into pity-posting.., this is tough to talk about without sounding to whiny)) Nah you're good I get the frustration It's one of those things where one pick can make all the difference. The Kings are trying to build a team which will be centered around high drafts as the basis of the squad BUT every fan wants a player who can be one of the best in the league and you build the team around him It is a thin slope when you ask your fans for patience and after asking for patience when you were tanking and being bad

Who would you rather have? Luka by himself or the combo of Fox and Bagley?
I’d go with Luka. The NBA is a superstar’s league, Luka’s pretty much already there while Fox and Bagley are both flawed potential All-Stars.

Luka if i'm starting a team from zero At the very least, you get 7-8 years of time with a superstar and can build a team around him. However, in saying all that you still need two superstars and a good team to win in this league. Luka is great but he's not the end all be all
