Does this mean very much? Looking up the numbers, Pursuit is in 45 million homes while AXS is in "over 50 million." AXS has less distribution than Pop, let alone Spike/Paramount.

AXS is also on some less niche packages compared to Pursuit. Neither channel is exactly USA, Paramount, or TNT, but it's a big upgrade from Pursuit. Not to mention AXS already has a built-in wrestling audience base from airing New Japan and WOW versus Pursuit's base of Hunting and Insecure Manhood.

The thing with AXS is it is in the lower tiers of lots of satellite and cable packages. Where as Pursuit and POP are in much much higher tiers. Add in that most of the streaming "cable replacement" services include AXS lots of people get it.

Yeah, this is indisputably an upgrade for them, though I guess time will tell how much the viewership will increase.

Part of an article from PWInsider. There is more containing tweets from different people but I'm not going to even try getting all that done on my phone. If you want to hunt them down Mark Cuban, Sami Callihan, Tessa Blanchard, and Scott D'Amore were a few.

So with Impact's move let me ask the board: If it moves to a new day, will you watch it? The best day seems to be Tuesday with Smackdown leaving and an audience conditioned for that day. Pair it with WOW and NJPW you have a solid night of wrestling. Or will you just be burned out with so much wrestling right now?

AXS isn't Pop or Spike but it's infinitely better than Pursuit. Pursiut is only on Directv and Verizon FIOS (maybe Dish) where as AXS is on most cable and providers and Dish, albeit on a more expensive package, but at least it's carried by those providers.

I haven't seen Impact since it moved to the redneck channel and I miss it. I don't think they'll move to Saturdays. That'll be 4 hours of wrestling on AXS and then there's MLW but you also have sports; college football, baseball playoffs and World Series, NFL playoffs, etc to go against. I wouldn't be shocked if it went back to good old reliable Thursday nights for Impact.

While Pursuit is on FIOS, it's one of their more niche sports packages. AXS is part of one of the more basic packages from them. I've got FIOS and while I don't have the former but I do have the latter. It's also a pain in the ass to watch it on Twitch.
When Impact moves to AXS, I'll probably watch it unless it conflicts with AEW programming. Putting it on a block with New Japan would almost certainly get me to watch it, and it's not like they've got anything else better to show on a Saturday night.

I'm not quite sure how all this works, but does this mean Steve Harvey is a part owner of Impact now?

No. The show still has Michael Elgin on it and two hours of AEW and two hours of NXT is enough US Style wrestling for one week.

I'm not quite sure how all this works, but does this mean Steve Harvey is a part owner of Impact now? Realistically, only by technicality. In practice? I'm gonna start blaming Steve Harvey for everything.

Sure. Why not? Wrestling’s been going too slow in the past...12 hours. I mean this is what, leaked texts showing the owner of RevPro wanted to protect Bodom in light of him shoot stomping a ref into retirement and the purchase of a whole-ass television network solely to grant TNA a network home that can't cancel them? Slow news day. Buying a television channel with a relationship to New Japan when New Japan's current Anglosphere partners are shitting the bed? Interesting Times...
