I will. I haven't seen Impact since it moved to the redneck channel and I miss it. I don't think they'll move to Saturdays. That'll be 4 hours of wrestling on AXS and then there's MLW but you also have sports; college football, baseball playoffs and World Series, NFL playoffs, etc to go against. I wouldn't be shocked if it went back to good old reliable Thursday nights for Impact. Knowing this company, Wednesdays against NXT and AEW Found a troll, folks

I mean... yay? I guess? But, on the other hand, it is kinda hilarious that the only way Impact could get on a better TV outlet was to just buy the TV outlet. Kinda, but considering Impact/TNA should've in theory been dead years ago but is still alive & now apparently able to (essentially, via Anthem) buy a TV network with any kind of national presence is bloody impressive.

Hopefully Impact gets a proper timeslot because Friday at 10pm isnt going to work, if they move to Thursday Nights, despite NFL competition they should still do better than on Pursuit.

This is the only good news this company has ever gotten in years. They survived a lot and it seems that things are finally turning around for them.

With Smackdown moving back to Fridays, Tuesdays are wide open. New Japan and WOW also currently air on Saturday nights.
I doubt this company still has the hubris to try and directly compete with WWE or AEW (and the NFL) like the ill-fated Monday Night Impact under the Dixie Carter regime. But I think they can establish their own niche alongside them and more promotions not trying to outright destroy one another is only good for the industry as a whole.

I'll probably try and watch them, but my TV viewing is so uneven as it is that I can't make any guarantees.
It's funny, I think following NJPW the past few years now has me conditioned to not really watch weekly wrestling, I'm more in the "tour" mindset, but now I might be in a better position to keep up with AEW, Impact, and MLW on a weekly basis. It's a bit easier for me to try and watch all of them since I don't watch WWE and thus save a lot of time on wrestling content, but my guess is I'll at least check them out periodically and watch some of the bigger PPV cards on Fite or something. Come to think of it I could also keep up with ROH's weekly show via Fite. Probably too much wrestling for me, again especially given that NJPW is the only promotion I watch with full regularity (might add AJPW or DDT/TJP to that if I subscribe to them), but I'm glad to at least have the options available, and more that the wrestlers themselves have the options available, too.

Also, Mark Cuban being directly involved with Impact could do a LOT for re-establishing any sort of working relationship between NJPW and Impact. Even if they only work together with Cuban as an intermediary, Cuban having a good relationship with both has gotta at least thaw the ice somewhat.

AXS isn't Pop or Spike but it's infinitely better than Pursuit. Pursiut is only on Directv and Verizon FIOS (maybe Dish) where as AXS is on most cable and providers and Dish, albeit on a more expensive package, but at least it's carried by those providers. Pursuit is on Dish but it is a high package channel.

AXS is also on some less niche packages compared to Pursuit. Neither channel is exactly USA, Paramount, or TNT, but it's a big upgrade from Pursuit. Not to mention AXS already has a built-in wrestling audience base from airing New Japan and WOW versus Pursuit's base of Hunting and Insecure Manhood. And speaking of WOW, Impact's about to go full throttle with Tessa Blanchard. She's the face of WOW, and her spot in Impact, get ready for her to be the face of wrestling on that network. They're going to put her out there as much as they can.

Yeah, forget what I just said, after seeing Raw ratings, Tuesday is now the best day possible. For what it's worth, AXS is in a similar position to Pursuit where they don't even register on Nielsen ratings. Impact's only concern should be not running during the same timeslot as another major wrestling company.

Isn't that usually done because of lower distribution, though? Do any cable channels with great distribution not subscribe to Nielsen?

Nice to see that there are more and more alternatives to the WWE monopoly. That can only be a good thing for pro wrestling itself.

Let me know when she gets access to a time machine
And apparently AXS has shut down the Dallas Office and the VP is exiting the company.
