Specifically the Luke vs Vader/Emperor tune and oddly I was thinking wheres the Nooo from Vader and realized I wasn't watching the movie. I guess I accept it being in and it doesn't bother/annoy me so much anymore.
Anywhoo.... I never realized this but they way its shot It can't just be me (because it never is) When Vader picks up the emperor does it not look like he is picking him up with both hands when he got his right hand cut off even 3 min ago?
Has he impaled the emperor with his right hand and if balancing him with his good hand? Does his right hand have a stun/paralyze attack because The Emperor just lays flat while Vader is carrying him. He's got him in a reverse military press and it really does look like they forgot Vader only has one hand at this point.
IF nothing else enjoy the vid I guess.

That “no” from Vader is one of the worst changes ever made to the OT. More than anything else, it has kept me from buying the blu-rays.

The important thing is that you're not spoiled for choice when it comes to determining the stupidest change. I think Han not shooting first is the worst, and I know that's an older change but they also alter it with every release so I'll bitch about it here too Dumbest though is adding rocks in front of R2-D2 for no reason in front of A New Hope, so the opening he is hiding in now appears smaller than him. Or making Jabba's door bigger. f***ing why?

Or making Jabba's door bigger. f***ing why? Those last two really were changes made for the sake of changes without thinking about the logistics of what they were doing. Sure, making the door of Jabba's palace huge makes it look more imposing, but causes a huge continuity error when Luke goes inside into a regular-sized room/corridor rather than a massive hanger.

I just want the original trilogy in its original theatrical form on Blu Ray. I’ll have nothing to complain about after that. Then I can watch the trilogy the way I want it and the way it was originally presented.

OMG, the special editions of ANH and Empire aren't too bad, but the Jedi special edition is the biggest butchery of a film I've ever seen.

I haven’t even seen the version with this “no”, and damn I’m glad I haven’t. Is it the same one with the blinking Ewoks?

Original Ewok celebration is the only one I acknowledge not the one where they don’t go to the other planets

The worst change to me is the weird ass noise they had Obi Wan make when rushing to save Luke from the Tuskan Raiders. Han shooting second never bothered me... mainly as the rest of the scene is still Han blasting Greedo and getting up like it was nothing. (Well in theory the original Han head sliding was pretty bad...)

The little changes to make everything feel joined together feel so forced, especially when so much of it is bad CGI. Yub nub or bust.

Yub Nub felt way too kiddy to me even when I was a kid.

Jedi Rocks is the key to everything. The Prequels, the OT, the new Trilogy, everything. But we aren’t talking about essential additions/changes.

Adding the NOOOOOOO! ruined it. Some things don't need to be said to convey the emotions needed for the scene. It's like when Vince McMahon was screaming "THAT'S GOTTA BE KANE!!!" over and over... we get it, you don't have to explain it to us. Just lay out and let the scene play out.

Yeah, as bad as some of the other changes are, when I learned this was added to one of my favorite scenes in all of the trilogy and one of the best examples of "Show, Don't Tell" your story...I just had no words. It cemented for me that Lucas really didn't understand Star Wars or what he (and a bunch of other people) made with the original trilogy.
It's somehow even more damning to me when you consider the shot works in spite of Vader being masked thanks to the score, the way it's shot, the cuts, it conveys everything you need to know without putting some melodramatic cry in there. Some shots like this don't even work when the person's face is visible.

My least favourite SE change was one which Lucas even changed his mind about, which was the awful addition of Luke screaming as he fell to the bottom of Cloud City.
Made even worse because it was Palpatines's death scream re-used.
Some SE bits I like, some not, but I couldn't stand that one both in idea and execution. Mercifully it was gone a few years later.
