Another marginal offside decision. Yes, by the definition of the law the Wolves player was offside and therefore VAR was correct. The law itself however is ridiculous.

rangers open up the scottish premiership right up with a 2-1 win over celtic, with a game in hand the celtic goal was fine as it came off edouards knee and of course morales gets a second yellow card for a blatant dive in the box at the end
st mirren won too as hearts slide further behind at the bottom of the table
just seen the goals at that crazy game between birmingham and leeds! 5-4 leeds won
the football association of ireland could go into LIQUIDATION!!!

Needs to be a bodypart which one can use to score a goal, right?

Needs to be a bodypart which one can use to score a goal, right? Yep. His foot was offside, that’s what caused the goal to be disallowed. As I said earlier, technically it was offside but come the f*** on, having a couple of toes offside is farcical. But that’s what the law states and that’s what needs to change.

Any part of the player's head, body or feet is in the opponents' half of the field (excluding the half-way line). Any part of the player's head, body or feet is closer to the opponents' goal line than both the ball and the second-last opponent. so yeah, no jazz hands required

Happy new year fellow football fans
A feast of Premier League football tomorrow. I will be watching:
12.30: Brighton v Chelsea 3.00: Newcastle v Leicester or Saints v Spurs haven’t decided yet 5.30: Man City v Everton 8.00: Arsenal v Man Utd
I’d rather the Arsenal game was on first because I might be too exhausted by then but we’ll see!

Woohoo, pretty good holiday season for the Saints this year. Certainly didn't expect the Chelsea and Tottenham wins.

All in all a good day yesterday even though trying to sit through 4 games in a row was tougher than I imagined. Still Arsenal won, Spurs & Man U lost and Chelsea didn’t win so a satisfactory day.
But VAR still sucks of course.

It's coming to the point where VAR will rule out a goal because the goalscorer's penis was slightly offside.

Everton knocked out of the FA Cup by Liverpool's NXT brand. Everton missed a big chance there but they were rubbish second half and Liverpool deserved it. Bit of Pantera on BBC’s Arsenal v Leeds coverage. Hopefully Arsenal Walk all over Leeds tonight.

Arsenal should have been down to nine men. Xhaka was fouling throughout the match and Lacazette kicked out at a Leeds player.

MLS SuperDraft is today. Inter Miami and Nashville SC obviously pick first.
