I would go with Caitlin Jenner. She seemed to be everywhere for s while but I have not seen her much lately.
Justin Bieber certainly. The crowds around him and the attendance at his concert has decreased to a ridiculous degree.
Any One Direction star not called Harry.
To be fair I am not the most up to current events kinda guy so I could be wrong on these.

Caitlyn Jenner's politics soured so many people on her, openly supporting someone who hates everything about women and the LGBTQ community, only entering damage control mode when it was too late.
Reality Tv talent contest winners in general have a minute shelf life, if it doesn't work out for them instantly, they'll receive no support from Simon Cowell's record label and will be cut loose after the bare minimum length of time. At this point there are more cases of that than genuine success stories, it's a wonder there hasn't been a string of Got Talent/Xfactor/Idol related suicides.

Could it be that, and just plain simple overexposure? I also kinda wonder if distancing herself from the Kardashians hurt. (Say what you will, but they do get attention and do have fans) No one should reject people based on who they support. And that's all I will say before getting into lock/ban turf.

Avocado? People used to put that on everything several years ago.
Okay, serious answer: Uncle Kracker. Only ever knew who he was due to that shitty X-Factor theme back in 2001, then he got arrested in 2007, and hasn't released an album since 2012.
The most recent news about him was just releasing a single last year.

Russel Brand was all over everything in 2011, then he pretty much faded into irrelevance.

So many films, channels, web series, etc, it's difficult for even performers who are keeping plenty busy to remain in the zeitgeist.
I think sometimes, it's also a case where someone just doesn't WANT to be in the direct spotlight that much, and don't fight to keep it. Paul Giamatti has remained plenty successful, but he was a character actor who, with American Splendor, Sideways, and a few other mid-2000s movies, garnered a bunch of name value as a leading guy for a bit. Seems like a lot of that cooled off with Lady in the Water, but he's been very prolific all the same. It's not like he's fallen into obscurity or anything, but it does seem like he wasn't long for the "starring vehicle" life.

Outside of he transition what else did she really offer though? I understand people wanted her to be an activist , but that’s not for everybody. Caitlyn Jenner’s net worth is over $100m. Obscurity is probably a desirable option.

it's a wonder there hasn't been a string of Got Talent/Xfactor/Idol related suicides. They've always got the club circuit afterwards, some even land cushy presenting jobs (Rylan and Michelle McManus)

I can't believe no one's done a proper documentary on this. Imagine going to interview say, Leon Jackson, about how it felt going back to work in Burtons when it all went to shit after winning the X Factor. You could get a whole Netflix series out of it, as you say with the amount of short-lived 'winners' there's been over the years.

Russel Brand was all over everything in 2011, then he pretty much faded into irrelevance. I kinda feel like that was somewhat self imposed after he got himself completely clean

Russell Brand did a podcast with Jameela Jamil recently and it was pretty eye-opening.

Personally, I think we're better off not obsessing over celebrities anyway, but that's just me, and I understand other people are going to feel different.
But to me, celebrities in general losing their relevance can only be a good thing.

I will never understand what people get out of knowing what celebrity is dating who, or who is pregnant, etc. Who cares? What do you get out of it? You're not going to be invited to the wedding or anything. Why do shows like ET and Extra need to exist? And about the Jenner thing, why wouldn't I reject somebody for who they support? If I find out a friend or family member is a racist or supports NAMBLA or something, guess what? I'm rejecting that shit.

There's still spin-offs, but the Jersey Shore cast aren't really famous anymore.

Considering he was the lead actor in a beloved sitcom, Joel McHale's done little since Community.

CeeLo Green. It seemed like he was everywhere around 2010-2011. The sexual battery charges were the beginning of the end and then that horrible, cringe-worthy Tweet that only made him look even guiltier pushed him out into the realm of irrelevance.
