Dunno why this is in WWE Network, but Crow-era Sting was that guy for me.

Raven. He looked and acted just like teenaged me. You crucified people and had your own personal asian stripper? Yes.

Brian Pillman was my first favorite wrestler. He remains in my top five to this day.

Rey Misterio Jr. in WCW and Ultimo Dragon, especially against each other. In WWF, it was Mankind/Cactus Jack and Kane.
I had seen wrestling prior before, given I owned an Ultimate Warrior night light in my youth (wasn't afraid of the dark, but had bunk beds I didn't want to fall off of, plus I thought it looked neat), but around 1998-99 is when I got into wrestling in a more major way.

Savage and Jake got me into wrestling, but Undertaker hooked me.
You can't really describe just how f***ing cool he was back in the early 90's before Vince got lazy with his booking. His first year in the company was spectacular. His debut the crowd were mesmerized, and that was me as young 'un.

I don't know if it really was any one guy...
The first wrestling i saw was Stampede, and it was the Bulldogs and the Hart family... but it was also wanting to see the heels get their come-uppance.

The earliest bait for me was probably the Junkyard Dog. I was also fascinated with Adrian Adonis and the Flower Shop before I started watching religiously.
But what really cemented it was Brutus Beefcake becoming the Barber at WM3. That, plus the Honky Tonk Man once he stole the IC belt from Steamboat, are what hooked me.

My grandfather, he wasn't a wrestler or anything, but spending Saturday mornings with him watching WWF made me a fan for life

When I got into wrestling I got to see WCW, WWF, GWF, USWA, AWA and some I can't recall. Cactus Jack was one of the guys who hooked me. Big Van Vader. Stunning Steve Austin (especially the Hollywood Blondes era). But there was just something about Rip Rogers that made him my favorite.

HBK was my favorite, but I wouldn't credit my fandom to just one performer. I would still love it all.

Piper. What was weird was it was past his prime when I got into wrestling. My first wrestling memory is the Savage/Jake snake bite and for some reason, Piper doing his run in from commentary is what hooked me. My parents had the hook up with one of the local video stores and they rented so many old WWF tapes for me when I was a kid that I just got a WWF education of the previous five years. I also hit gold at the neighborhood garage sale when I was like 8 and someone was selling all their old WWF magazines.
I loved everything about Piper, his mic work, the fact that his matches looked more like a fight, and the swagger on his way to the ring. From him, I got to be a Hogan and Savage fan. I discovered WCW in about 92 and that was a whole new world with Sting and the different product WCW put out.

Tough Call. I became a fan through Hulk Hogan's Rock N Wrestling. My older brother was a wrestling fan so I used to ask him to tell me when Hogan was going to be on. One day while waiting for Hulk, I saw The Hart Foundation got hooked on Bret. Week after week I was asking my brother to tell when other guys were going to be on. Until eventually I started watching the whole thing.
So you could say it was Hulk or you could say it was Bret.
