Ugh. The Fiend doesn’t need to be “put over” by Kane. Kane and Taker are hitting 60. Beating them does nothing for nobody these days, no matter how hard they try to convince the fans it does. See, Kane and Taker aren't over 50. Glenn Jacobs and Mark Callaway are. Both these guys have the unique advantage of being supernatural wrestling characters that can stay as over and powerful as they like. I get its not a valid example, but I see it as saying we don't buy 70 year old Peter Cullen against 70 year old Frank Welker, whereas Optimus Prime and Megatron are forever in their peak.

Undertaker should have permanently phased into the ABA incarnation of his character toward the end of his career. Would have been more interesting than playing a deadman forever. Can he still move quickly enough to be anything but the Deadman?
