I assume we have many younger fans who weren't around as fans when the MNW was a thing. There's nothing in wrestling like when two shows are actively trying to outdo eachother. I didn’t get into wrestling until The Invasion was happening, so this will be my first “war.” (TNA on Monday doesn’t count, right? )

That was akin to running up on someone wanting to sucker punch them, and breaking your own damn wrist because you missed and hit the wall.

I finally got to see the show. I thoroughly enjoyed the show. And I'm happy to feel that, "I'm rooting for this to work for them." and seeing them put on a great show for what this will be. NXT doesn't have the stink of Raw and Smackdown, and that's what makes it enjoyable.

Yep I started watching in '99 with my dad and he never paid much attention to WCW so I didn't know anything about it until the buy-out angle between Shane and Vince. It'll be interesting to experience it from the beginning for sure.

Sean Maluta Geek-o Supreme-o. Yeah, no kidding. This is his 14th televised match under the WWE umbrella (including his one match in the Cruiserweight Classic and a match from that EVOLVE show they aired on the Network), and he ain't won any of them.

I can't get over the fact that every week, Triple H and Cody are each going to be frantically trying to put on the absolute best show possible. Isn't this exactly what we've always wanted?

"Hey 2001 Me, sorry you didn't get to see much of the Monday Night Wars but in about a decade and a bit, you're going to see a new one with a show run by Triple H and one run by Dusty Rhodes' son." "How did you get in here? Please leave..."

I wish I could watch this live so I could contribute to a live thread more often, but I bloody loved this episode. The women's match was perfect for the first match, I'm a fan of Trevor Lee who is surely a character in RDR2, Dream/Strong was ace (Roddy is one of the best to watch in ring at the moment and I like that the UE hold all the good), always happy to see my boys Pete Dunne (though I want him back as a badass heel) and Oney Lorcan wreck shit in the best way possible, and quite liked the massive brawl for the Dain/Riddle match for what it was, although it needs a definitive conclusion.
Over to you Cody

Hopefully AEW won't counter with a Dark Order push in the tag team tournament.

WWE have released an injury report following last night's show...
*Kona Reeves suffered a cut on his cheek with possible orbital bone damage following a dark match with Damian Priest *Arturo Ruas suffered possible damage to a finger following his match with Pete Dunne *The Velveteen Dream was seen limping following his title loss to Roderick Strong - it's not mentioned here, but he has a rumoured back issue
The video also mentions that Matt Riddle and Killian Dain came out of their truncated Street Fight unscathed, and will go again next week.

Dream having a bad back explains why the match well good, felt clunky.
Also a back injury is scary. He still so young. Hopefully even with the show being move to USA he isn't going to push and Trips give him a rest.
Dream's a star star, don't burn him out so soon.

He took some brutal landings in the triple threat so I'm not entirely surprised by this, but yeah I hope he doesn't push it and gives himself time to heal up.

And TNA was Poland.
