Does it have to be that fake with the Fiend gimmick stuff how can you try to look serious as a company while having a gimmick like that? It makes the company look bad IMO.
Wacky supernatural gimmicks should stay a thing of the past!

I disagree gimmicks like that need to be way more prevelent quite frankly because that is what pro wrestling should be , it needs to be fun and return to being something people talk about and theorize about and have fun with it creativly.
That does not make them look bad it is how they book gimmicks like that that ends up making them look bad.
And creativly limiting themselves makes wrestling in general boring.

You enjoy fake things for sure. It's funny, but it also seems to be true.

I like batshit, goofy gimmicks, but I'm disappointed in the way the Fiend has played out. When something is fake, then it's super important to let the audience know what the rules are. What are his powers? Why does he have a kids show? What's he even want?
Funhouse Bray is still a good performance, but the Fiend is just blaaughhgh scary clown blaugugugh. Fake stuff needs clarity.

I get the idea of shrugging some things off but they reeeeeally over did it. Kick out of a couple stomps sure but just planting him with like 8 in a row was just so silly. The boos while he was doing it were hilarious.

Not sure I agree but I do think a kayfabe reason should be given as to why the guy who went down to a single RKO at wrestlemania is now able to kick out of more curbstomps in 5 minutes than Brock could in several matches.
Even back in the cartoony days they built it up Hogan got special power from the crowd, Undertaker drew inner strength from the urn, why does Matt Hardy's tag partner have these abilities? Suspending disbelief is easier when the creators give you a little nudge to help.

I would usually be 100% on board with how they haven't given much explaination to the character but every Firefly Fun House pretty much explains most of the character of Bray and the Fiend. He's using this as a way to make up for his misdeeds of the past, keeping them suppressed inside which is The Fiend.
I'm usually the first person to jump on them for this stuff but in this case? It's all there.

New Japan is about as sportslike as it gets, and they just recently pulled out a surprise of the return of Kishin Liger, Jyushin Thunder Liger's superpowered ultraviolent alter-ego who sprays mist. There's room for a littlle bit of fantasy within wrestling, it just needs to be handled properly by the writing.

No, I need more gimmicks like this with some personality. I’m tired of seeing a guy play wrestler.

Like I can only speak for myself and my equally nerd-ass friends I've gotten into wrestling, but the Finn Balor comic where it turns out he just straight-up killed a demon in the Irish countryside and absorbed its power is like the coolest f***ing thing and should by all rights be the actual canon backstory for the man. Just roll with it.

When over the top gimmicks with supernatural, gothic, horror or scary works it is a hot ticket to money and big matches see Undertaker, Kane, Evil Doink, Sting, Kishin Liger, etc ... Unfortunately everyone also remembers when it is a disaster like Papa Shango, Ultimate Warrior (wcw), Good Doink, Mordecai, Rellik, Dungeon of Doom etc ... Sometimes it melds both and becomes some sort of bizarre scary yet campy creation like The Boogeyman or Goldust. ---- Personally I loved it when the Undertaker first arrived and no sold everything, then again they didn't immediately have him feud with Hulk Hogan, have him hit him with 10 leg drops and then try to end his career by slamming him on a table only for him to get back up.
