This was a fairly amusing series. That said, the OP is an earworm to me. SIDE CHESTO! A trivia note-- This series is in the same universe as Kengan Ashura. At present there is one character in "Dumbbell" that links the two series together: {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Yakusha Kure

While very patiently waiting for new chapters of Dr. Stone/Seven Deadly Sins/Black Clover/The Promised Neverland, I've been gradually working my way through Gintama, which is something I actually meant to do a long while back. A few times I thought of dropping it because of all the silliness and grossout humor, but then it'd unexpectedly smack me in the feels and I'd just have to continue.

So I saw the 3rd episode of the 5th Tenchi Muyo OVA, they go to an island, basically nothing much, a bit of fan service, but there is some foreshadowing for War on Geminar since Tenchi's half brother is with them, there is a scene where Tenchi is teaching him to catch some mushrooms and some training in the woods, some ninja hops and stuff, something we would see him do in Geminar. But there is one serviceable moment Tenchi has with Ryoko where they are talking alone at the shore at night, basically reminiscing when Ryoko first went to Earth, but of course Ayeka interrupts. But after that:

Hozuki’s Coolheadedness is a dry/dark comedy following the life of a demon in Japanese hell. Humor is cultural so some of it is going to fall flat or get lost in translation but it makes me smile a few times per show. Many references to Japanese mythology also will send you to wikipedia now and then but never bad to learn new stuff.

The latest episode of the 5th OVA of Tenchi Muyo is out and: {Spoiler}{Spoiler} What are they insinuating here? Does it have something to do with the selfish wish Tenchi had at the end of the last episode?

Preview of the next episode of the 5th OVA of Tenchi:
Looks like more of GXP characters returning and interacting with the original cast.

It seems that it was announced that Gokushufudou/Way of the House Husband is gonna get something on Netflix. Yay.
No trailer yet, and for most part it seems that it's gonne be a bunch of shorts instead of a 20+ minute anime, which I think would fit the content.
Since no trailer, here's something from the live-action adaptation to show what it's about.

I've been meaning to sit down and figure out kind of an approach to go about doing regular anime reviews, sort of figure out a format for it and how I want to go about it. The whole rewatching project thing fell through for a number of reasons but I'd kind of been wanting to restructure it anyway. Really need to just make the time one of these days to figure out an approach to take, figure out a show to start with, and just go for it.

Your best would probably be watch it in 3-4 episode intervals so you don't burn out too fast and those 3-4 episodes will take an hour and a half to two hours which should generally fly by

I see why JuJutsu Kaisen got the hype it did, it is really good
Once I finish up the anime season, I def will be catching it up on the Manga from which I see is almost essentially one for one in terms of source material

Live action but an adaption of a manga I would check out is Alice in Borderland on Netflix, elements of 28 days later, Saw, The Cube and more mystery horror. Acting and production values a lot better than average J-Doramas. Had never heard of the manga so might track it down.
Was inevitable but season 2 of Demon Slayer got the OK and clips are flying around twitter 'sometime 2021' is the vague release date.

I still got to watch the Live Action since I heard really good things I read the Manga a few years ago and highly recommend it

Jujutsu Kaisen is amazing. Should have gotten into it earlier. One of the best anime series I've seen this past decade.

Glad to see Jujutsu Kaisen is getting glowing reviews as I started watching it myself the other day I like what I've seen so far (So I'm for a good time then), it also doesn't hurt the ending credits song and sequence is one of the best in modern Anime:
