Rojuro had something similar to plague doctor mask Huh, hell. I seriously did not remember that. I mean he kind of was the most least paid attention member of the Visored

It's been a while, but man, the manga didn't really mention much of the Visored and Arrancar by the last arc. Also, mentioning both reminds me of the OP they had around that time, which was nice. The bit when the Visored draw their swords made me feel like things are gonna get pretty good.

And then they got their ass whooped by GOD Aizen I do not care for the last arc of Bleach at all but I def can't wait until it gets animated. Feels like Kubo had a bunch of ideas he wanted to throw out there and it didn't really stick. I know people wanted to blame the Manga getting cut short by a month for the arc lacking but the arc was lacking long before that and all they did was cut the battle short

I know people wanted to blame the Manga getting cut short by a month for the arc lacking but the arc was lacking long before that and all they did was cut the battle short It was kinda quite a trainwreck. Like, it was like... "hey, I got this new power", then "well, lemme show you my power", and then some other guy shows up "lemme interrupt with my own power!" and so on. There were some spots that I did dig, dunno if I need to spoiler it at this point but might as well. {Spoiler}Unohana being the previous Kenpachi I liked. But for most part when it was still current I just had that feeling where I read the recent chapter and end up feeling "well, all right then". Anime might be fun to see animated, but unless they make a few... some... well, a good deal of patches it's just gonna be one scene after another. And, one thing I thought about in hindsight. Like, comparing to the big shonen series in the day, it felt like Ichigo didn't have a real goal. Like, rescue Rukia, Orihime, but nothing really felt like a driving force for him throughout the arcs. He just feels like a blank slate at times. As for the ending... yeah, the arc was lacking, and an extra month or even two just to add more to the final fight won't have helped. Manga ending just felt like... "um, sure, you go with that".

What are the standouts of this season? All I've really been paying attention to is Zombieland Saga.

A lot of big players got downsized in that arc. Byakuya was out of commission for majority of it That and Naruto just felt like they were grasping for straws with this big war conflict and both fell real flat. I've already stated before my hate for Kaguya being the big bad out of nowhere. Both Aizen and Madara respectively were built from jump as main villains and to get side stepped felt weird. Hell, you could even positioned Sasuke as the last obstacle but they sold that short too. {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW} Unohana as the previous Kenpachi was such a good reveal, kind of mad they killed as those two on the field would been great.
Tho not like we got a great look at Kenpachi bankai either which was a bit of a waste

Honestly, dunno. Right now at the state where I don't pay much attention. Some manga I read, some which has been going on for a while, but for anime it'll take a while before I'd start with something. Already so much to consume. At the moment, watching My Hero Academia and that's about it. Not like I don't wanna watch stuff that's been recommended, by my pace with things tend to move very slowly, so I take my time on new stuff. Might get hooked on a good episode, but get so busy with other hobbies that I gotta get prodded to watch.

{Spoiler}Yeah. They hinted something about Unohana since around the end of the Soul Society Arc. The reveal was good for what it was, but after that point it was essentially lost in the shuffle. Still looking forward to the reveal, though one kinda wonders how it'll go down with anime-only watchers. Been a long time since the manga happened. {Spoiler}And while we're at it, also look forward to Mayuri.

I wonder if people are going to buy into Ishida being a bad guy
At least they get to make the fight longer between Yhwach and Ichigo because beating the Father of Quincies who killed Captain Yamamoto that easy should be more thrilling especially with Aizen in the mix

{Spoiler}And while we're at it, also look forward to Mayuri. I have no idea the actual context of your whole post so I just read this part as a Steins;Gate thing. {Spoiler}"Oh no, I just wound you! Don't tell me you're broken!"

I can watch this anime countless times and when it gets to the very end always get a good sense of feelings and nostalgia from the journey
Still look at it as one of the more satisfying endings to the show and this montage puts a good cap on it

Jojolion is ending next month {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}It seems like the penultimate chapter maybe sets up the next Jojo for Part 9, who looks to have lots of Joseph parallels Well won’t have to worry about that next chapter ending for 10 years On bright side, the anime has bought itself a few more years since we were going to be in limbo if Stone Ocean finished and JoJolion was still going
