I've recently finished the Stardust Crusaders arc of Jojo. It's interesting how much of the lore of the series has changed since the beginning, but it's really for the better. While SC was probably the most predictably written series of the 3 so far, with it's consistent 'monster of the week' story format, stands are definitely easier to grasp, and generally more interesting than hamon energy was. SC would probably be the first series I would tell people to watch for JoJo. It has a shit ton of action and suspense and hardly ever breathes as a new threat always comes. Then I would say watch Season 2 and 1 as both are very good in their own right as I really do like Joseph as a character. You’re in for a trip for Diamond is Unbreakable but since you are familiar with the characters I think you will like it. Action is still there but a lot more suspense Since you liked SC you will really enjoy Golden Wind which is basically SC even more crazier Already started DiU and like it’s slice of life aesthetic. Gotta also add how much the credit song choices sound like we’re listening into someone’s personal playlist. I loved Walk Like An Egyptian for SC, and completely lost it when Savage Garden of all things played this time.

You probably already know about it, since I’m positive it was memed to death, but I eagerly await your reaction to Part 5’s ending.

A new Manga series started on the Shonen Jump app today called Earthchild.
I really liked it, but I question it's sustainability as an ongoing series.
Weekly manga just feels like the wrong format for the story it is trying to tell.

Haven't been watching or reading anime and manga as much. VTubers has consumed my anime/manga time lately.
That said, came across Ranking of Kings and... go watch Ranking of Kings.

I don't think I've really watched anything new since I was following season 2 of Zombieland Saga, and that was the first thing in awhile in its own right. Maybe should just find something and dig into it.

Weekly manga just feels like the wrong format for the story it is trying to tell. Happy to say I was wrong about this. It's at four chapters, as I post this, and seems to really be settling into its groove.

Well, time for a cram session on Komi Can't Communicate before season 2 comes out because no one informed me until I just stumbled into it that it's done by the same creative team as the anime of Mysterious Girlfriend X. I don't think I've really watched anything new since I was following season 2 of Zombieland Saga, and that was the first thing in awhile in its own right. Maybe should just find something and dig into it. Jujutsu Kaisen if you didn’t give that a look already Might give it a look, sounds like it could be interesting.

For some reason I came across Mahou Shoujo of The End or Magician Girl Apocalypse and forgot I was reading that years ago but never finished it
Craziness in it but the story is at least half way decent as far as horror genre is concerned

So I'm roughly halfway through Golden Wind now, which is good and bad. Good in that I'm really invested in where it's going, bad because Jodeci is no longer in the credits. Although the Enigma song is very cool, but it just doesn't hit me in the loins like the other one did. I'll spoiler some thoughts and questions below just to be safe: {Spoiler} Is there any particular reason the show stopped using the direct names of artists for the stands? or example Emperor Crimson and Spicy Lady are obviously supposed to be King Crimson and Spice Girl, and Notorious B.I.G.'s name was written down despite Giorno calling him something completely different. It doesn't really bother me, but I do like that sort of silliness out of the show. I.e. Robert E.O. Speedwagon's introduction being the thing that really told me I would love this show.
I don't think I quite understand King Crimson's power. What I gather is he has some limited precog, and can freeze time, while also having access to a pocket of space outside of time. He can take snippets of time and remove them from existing, but instead of the events not actually taking place, it seems more like he removes any consequence towards himself that would have taken place in that period of time. So everyone else continues as if everything already happened, but only he has the knowledge of what was removed. Is that right? So for example, when the cleaning lady walks in on the boss in the hotel, he removes the snippet of time she walked in on him and exits the room, meaning she has no memory of ever seeing him despite still remembering she was meant to clean the room, which is why she originally entered to begin with.
Speaking of the boss, I find it funny how many major Jojo villains like to lurk in the shadows, and/or have the goal of wanting to be left the f*** alone recently. Will the Boss also be revealed to have some kinky weird shit he's trying to keep private? I'll have to wait and see.
I don't think Bruno's prognosis is looking all that great with him seemingly now being a walking bloodless husk. That's a bummer.
Also I'm totally buying a t-shirt of Bruno licking Giorno, it's the message I really want to send out to the world.

As far as Emperor Crimson goes his basic power is he can erase time while also having the ability to see the future. As you said, no one except Diavolo will remember what happened in that time skip. We saw that when they landed at the boss hideout and time kept skipping and none of them remembered what they did
Also you will have to wait and see on what the boss motivation is. Dio wanted absolute power. Pillar Men wanted to be ultimate beings. Kira wanted a "simple life" of killing when he wants and doing his job

If they'd announced the three month hiatus after the last chapter basically resolved the last arc, it would've been fine. But have this latest chapter come out and THEN announce it? Not fair, Tabata-san! {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Especially after the bombshell that got dropped with the Big Good turning out to be the split personality of the Big Bad who's been orchestrating the whole saga this entire time!
