I can't wait until we get the Cornette/Revival team on NWA or the indies so we can stop talking about dumb this man can be I would love that but his knees are too far gone, he never had them fixed after the scaffold bump.

When it comes to Cornette really I recognize that he has a ton of talent but I kind of just find him to be so repugnant as a person that I can't really look past it. It's just fine for people who can, no judgment, but I can't.
Also, I've never really understood why anyone wants the Revival to have anything to do with him? I really don't see where they would benefit from him at all.

It's more for the sake of wanting The Revival to become even more like the southern tag team style wrestlers they are already paying tribute to. I remember this sentiment was very loud around Mania 33 when The Revival were at their peak overness in NXT waiting to be called up, and Cornette was inducting Ricky and Robert into the HoF. But yeah, they don't particularly need Cornette, as they are good talkers on their own, Dawson moreso than Wilder.

The Revival and any other act would benefit a lot from having him.

I think he has issues of some sort or another I've said it before, but the thing about Cornette is that he correctly identifies problems, but his solutions are usually bollocks, and often his reactions to the problem and his fervour for how right his supposed solution is are ludicrously extreme.

They don't really need promo help, but it'd make them look like a bigger deal.

By July next year both of them will be free agents and will almost certainly need to be rebuilt somewhat after getting jobbed out on WWE television, so putting them with Tully will help them a lot. The Revival and Shawn Spears will make for a very good stable.

They got to pick Arn's brain in WWE, if they could get Corny's in NWA and Tully's in AEW man that's some serious learning tree tag experts that fit their gimmick so well.

Totally, and Tully's able to conjure enough "pissed-off old man" energy for three dudes, easily, if Shawn's still with him by that time.
