Just off the last two days and promos, I'm leaning towards Juice Robinson and David Finlay winning the tournament. Ugh... I wish that roppongi 3k and birds of prey were in this The tag division should not be this abysmal

I normally may root for Suzuki-Gun, bu I want Archer to defend his US title at WK if possible. Luckily, there's 2 WK shows this time.

Decided to make a chart of the current results as we head into VOD matches. I can't watch the VOD uploads until 11pm EST, and Thanksgiving is the day we go back to being live, so I'll be behind by a day until December. Team | Points | Ishii/YOSHI-HASHI | 6 | Dangerous Tekkers | 4 | FinJuice | 4 | Cobb/Nicholls | 4 | GBH | 4 | KENTA/Yujiro | 4 | TenCozy | 4 | Yano/Cabana | 4 | EVIL/SANADA | 2 | Suzuki/Archer | 2 | Fale/Chase | 2 | HenarACE/TanaRe | 2 | Goto/Fredericks | 2 | GoD | 0 | Nagata/Nakanishi | 0 | Shingo/Terrible | 0 |

As much as I love Ishii, the idea of YOSHI-HASHI being anywhere close to a championship grosses me out.
I'm personally rooting for Suzuki-Gun as well.

As much as I love Ishii, the idea of YOSHI-HASHI being anywhere close to a championship grosses me out. I'm personally rooting for Suzuki-Gun as well. I thought YOSHI-HASHI and Ishii gelled well in the last match, but I despise YOSHI-HASHI so much that I don't care and don't want them to win. I think they will do well, but fall short in this tournament. Definitely rooting for Dangerous Tekkers and while it won't happen, would love to see TenCozy get a swan song victory in this tournament. Outside of that, I have really enjoyed Shingo/El Terrible even though it's clear they aren't there to win. Also, really don't want EVIL/SANADA to win again, even though they are a good tag team and I like both wrestlers. I just want to see New Japan mix things up in their tag team division. With the US expansion going forward, it would be nice to make the tag titles mean something and be defended more often.

I know everyone on here loves Nakanishi, but its honestly time for him to hang up his boots.
The poor guy's even less mobile than usual anymore.

It should be noted: after the all Suzuki-gun match, Minoru Suzuki himself is the first person in NJPW kayfabe to use the term "Taichi-gun" in a promo.

I might be wearing squeaky shoes this time in January for this but, I think that all but confirms who the next leader of Suzuki-Gun will be. Added to the fact that ZSJ has spent the whole tournament talking about how awesome Taichi is at every opportunity. Though, I wouldn't mind seeing it temporarily become Michinoku-Gun while Taichi continues to develop into a main event HW heel.

ZSJ is totally awesome, but we don't need both heel factions lead by westerners. Taichi is also a better replacement for Suzuki, in terms of his relationship with the audience.

Taichi is a heat magnet in Japan.

Suzuki-Gun civil war post Wrestle Kingdom, please. Dangerous Tekkers split up to form Sabre-Gun and Taichi-Gun, feud for the year. Neither team would have to turn face either.

Both HenarACE and Goto/Karl each have one more win than I'd thought either would have. Curious to see if the baseline is 6 points this year, as opposed to having 1-2 teams with 0-2 points as in years past. Team | Points | FinJuice | 6 | Yano/Cabana | 6 | Ishii/YOSHI-HASHI | 6 | EVIL/SANADA | 4 | Cobb/Nicholls | 4 | Dangerous Tekkers | 4 | GBH | 4 | Goto/Fredericks | 4 | HenarACE/TanaRe | 4 | KENTA/Yujiro | 4 | TenCozy | 4 | GoD | 2 | Shingo/Terrible | 2 | Suzuki/Archer | 2 | Fale/Chase | 2 | Nagata/Nakanishi | 0 |
