How many are stuck at home now, waiting out their contracts? There's gotta be a number of them at this point that it should be a concern.

Any chance Mistico returns and takes back the gimmick?
His main rival and enemy Del Rio is gone. So he could flourish once again in WWE.

Sin Cara can work, his main problems are that he's pretty much never put into a position to--WWE is very strict on controlling matches and if you're on the bottom you probably won't be able to do much--and because he's stuck with a gimmick that doesn't suit him. His work as Hunico showed off more power moves--at least on small guys--and brawling than he's able to do put into a mask and expected, rightful or not, to do flippy shit. He's the victim of inheriting a gimmick given to him by a crazy person who now expects him to fulfill everything the last guy did, and that's just not him as a performer. Also he had some great matches in CHIKARA prior to signing with the WWE. Please refresh my memory, when was this? I'm drawing a total blank but vaguely recall it now that you mention it.

He wrestled for them semi-regularly for a few years there, off the top of my head I know he was apart of the 2008 King of Trios (won it with Pantera and Lince in actuality in a moment that's rather infamous among the fanbase) and also won the Rey de Voladores that same year (before it was transitioned to be apart of the KOT weekend), and if I recall debuted for the company during the Cibernetico & Robin cibernetico match on Lince Dorado's big lucha team.

In 2008, he won both the King of Trios, with Pantera and Lince Dorado, and the Rey De Voladores. He was also part of 2007 Torneo Cibernetico.

And as we expected, he's not getting his release.
And the word going around is that he still has 3 Years Left.

So that makes two guys who recent just re-upped requesting a release in Cara and Kanellis
That must be doing wonders for morale. Guys re-signing and then immediately wanting out because the money isn't worth your sanity.

He's 40 years old and is pretty much a career never-was, what possible f***ing harm in there is just letting him go? Does WWE really have to keep every one of their 4385304858093485048 wrestlers on the payroll?

Does WWE really have to keep every one of their 4385304858093485048 wrestlers on the payroll? They're terrified, with the blooming Indy Scene and AEW, and even New Japan going into America, Vince's ego cannot handle guys being released and thriving in another system, making his booking look like shit. Moxley and even Spears currently are showing exactly how much it's paying to get out of WWE's system, so he'd rather hold guys hostage than actually fire them. Leading to damaged morale, sanity, and borderline hostage situations. Even the people who re-sign almost immediately want to quit afterwards, it's not a good look at all and it's only gonna get worse. Someone made a great point, at a shareholders meeting it should be asked what paying dudes who aren't doing a damn thing to stay home does for the company and a financial standpoint, because it simply isn't worth it, not for this.

Also just adding. He did seem to get hurt alot too. Which means that WWE is going to add time on to hos contract.

While he was by no means as successful as the man that would become Mistico after him (few in Mexico ever were or are), he did have a decent run of it in Mexico. There's a reason why he had some buzz to himself in the first place and the WWE brought him in for a developmental try-out. Just because he never got that high, or higher, in the WWE isn't entirely on him (especially when he' never had much in the way of a push, or angles, that could really help him make a connection with the fans).

I wonder if Cedric gave him disapproving looks in the locker room for not being grateful to be there.
Plus side more food for Rollins empty table.

If anything just let Andrade claim the mask in a big raw match I said this in the Raw thread last week just have Andrade go full cruiserweight Jericho 97-98 and have him win the mask and wear as a trophy to heel it up. On a side note wasn't Hunico originally signed as he was familiar with working the same style as Mistico as others couldn't something like that or was that just BS AS usual?
