The story so far: MLW was a company that started in 2002 basically at the same time as companies such as ROH and TNA so they were one of the companies that came out of ECW/WCW but, unlike other companies, they did not survive, and in 2004 they closed their doors. Fast forward to 2017 and Court Bauer decided to revive his old promotion and ran some "one shot" ppvs the popularity of these events led to Bauer fully reviving the company and in 2018 they landed a Tv deal with Bein sports. they add a mix of established names like Low-ki, Teddy Hart, Davey Boy Smith Jr. and some younger talent like Shane Strickland, MJF, and the Lucha Bros. things were going good until a certain group decided to form their own promotion and with it took Jimmy Havoc, MJF, Marko Stunt, Joey Janela, and the Lucha Bros. It also didn't help that not long before this they lost Shane Strickland to WWE so now with their talent raided the MLW has to look to survive as the wrestling industry got a whole lot tougher

before I start this just a couple of disclaimers
disclaimer 1: this whole be the booker thing may seem similar to Magic's NWA Diary (I mean Hell even the whole concept of a small promotion trying to build itself among some stiff competition is similar) and some of the roster/eventually signings are going to be similar, I will try to be different from Magic. Even then there may be some storylines/matches may be the same as his but I am not trying to steal his stuff. This might not matter to most of you but I wanted to get that out there just in case.
Disclaimer 2: kind of like the above post in this diary there may be things that are similar or exactly the same as the Real MLW I will try to differentiate of it when I can and once again this will most likely be something that people do not care about but I still want to say it anyway
and with that being said I hope you guys enjoy

Just a quick request. Could you please put who the Dynasty and the Dirty Blonds are in the OP, for anyone who isn't familiar with MLW?

MLW Fusion week 1 April 2019
*the show opens with a video package showing the steel cage match between Low-ki and Tom Lawlor for the MLW World Heavyweight Championship from the last week. It ends with Tom and Low-ki fighting on the outside, side of the cage and both men falling but Lawlor is declared the winner but afterwards he is attacked by Simon Gotch and two other men. They bring Tom back into the cage and the assault ends with one of the men a big Samoan splashing Tom from the top of the cage*
Contra Unit makes their mark *Tom Lawlor makes his way to the ring he's carrying his World Title but he doesn't look happy as he grabs a mic.*
He talks about his match against Low-ki and retaining the World Heavyweight championshp. Then he says what happened after the match with Gotch and the two other men, he calls them cowards for what they did and if they want to fight, do it right now. Then the video screen flashes to show Gotch and the two other men backstage. Gotch inrtroduces the two men as Josef, and Jacob Fatu he then says he would love to come down there to face Tom but, they're a little busy at the moment and maybe Tom should come find them. *the camera pans down to see Tom's Training Partner Fred Yehi laid out. Tom quickly leaves the ring and goes backstage.*
Mance Warner vs Myron Reed The first match of the night was more of a showcase of new signing Mance Warner, Myron Reed put up quite a fight but in the end it wasn't enough to put away Mance as Warner hit's his finisher and covers Myron for the 3 count.
H2tv On this weeks episode of H2TV the Hart foundation talk about having no competition for either the tag belts or middleweight championship, and Teddy rambles on about cats or something.
The Dirty Blondes w/ col. Robert Parker vs Jimmy Yuta and Lance Anoa'i On the topic of tag teams the next match was yet another showcase, the dirty blondes haven't been seen recently so this was a return match for them and they defeat the random put together team of Yuta and Anoa'i. After the match Yuta's former partner Lance Cade came out and attacked Yuta showing that any issues between these two are far from over.
Lawlor looks for Yehi *Tom is shown walking down the hallway yelling out Yehi's name he walks past a door, after he does the door opens and Low-ki sticks his head out, shakes his head and shuts the door.*
Rich Swann vs Low-Ki #1 contender to middleweight championship In the main event of the evening Rich Swann faced Low-ki, in what was a relative quick match Low-ki defeats Swann with a double stomp to the back of Swann from the top rope.
Contra Strikes Lawlor is again shown backstage as he comes across Josef standing outside a door. Tom demands that Josef tell him where Fred is, Josef tells him that Fred is behind the door that they're standing in front of. Tom opens the door and is jumped by Fatu and Gotch. All three men beat down Lawlor and leave him laying next to Yehi as the show goes off air.
editor's note: I know the match recap and some of the other things were short but I was writing this in a rush, I also forgot to write down each person's finisher I only know Low ki's off memory, the next show will be slightly more detailed

*the show opens with a recap from last week with Contra Unit beating down Fred Yehi, Which was followed by Tom looking for Fred and then getting beaten down by Contra Unit himself*

They go on to say that Tom Lawlor deserved what he got and that his beating was just the beginning. They are putting the whole locker room on notice. *Josef then makes a fireball and throws it into the camera to end the segment*
LA Park vs Kotto Brazil In the first match, luchadore legend LA. Park faced young upcomer, Kotto Brazil. Kotto puts up quite a fight, being younger he is faster than Park but, La has more experience and is able to catch Kotto and throws a few punches on him. the match ends with La Park hitting the La Parkinator and pinning Kotto for the win.
H2tv on this weeks edition of H2TV, the Hart Foundation talks about low ki challenging Teddy Hart for the middleweight championship. Davey boy and Brian Pillman talk about potential challengers for the tag titles.
The Dirty Blondes w/Robert Parker vs AAron Epic and Sugar Dunkerton In this squash match the Dirty Blondes faced local competitors Aaron Epic and Sugar Dunkerton. The jobbers got little offense against the Blondes. The dirty Blondes hit their finisher for the win.
The Dynasty Debut We go backstage again as two new individuals who introduce themselves as Richard Holiday and Alexander Hammerstone. Richard comes off as a rich snob and very confident, he calls Hammerstone his insurance policy. Hammerstone does get to speak and says that Richard and him would give everyone nightmares.
Sami Callihan w/Salina de la Renta vs Tommy Dreamer "The Draw" Sami Callihan takes on the extreme legend Tommy Dreamer in the main event of this weeks Fusion. it is a back and forth match with the veteran Dreamer getting some close calls against Callihan. however in the end Callihan gets the upper hand and puts Dreamer in the stretch muffler and Tommy taps.
Callihan challenges Lawlor After the match Salina grabs the mic and says that Promociones Dorado isn't done with Lawlor yet and she thinks that Callihan beating Dreamer is enough to give Callihan a title match. Lawlor comes out and accepts but, he says he wants to fight right now and they brawl to end the show.
