Can we not do the "people just wanna be offended" thing this time plz I wasn’t talking about this particular instance, just in general. We just had an issue with a NBA coach having to apologize for saying the word “thugs” in a locker room. That culture exists. My point was HHH has to know better because words are being scrutinized more than ever nowadays. First time hearing about the “thugs” story..That’s some bullshit. That may be the tamest thing a NBA Coach has ever said in a locker room.

Way overblown. He likely would have made that dumb joke regardless of whom he was talking about, male or female. Why the f*** is a C-level exec in a publicly traded company making fun of his employees

At least everyone on the Cavs said that they knew that Beilin didn't mean what the connotation was, and that he immediately apologized individually once he realized once he said. This is more equivalent to Kolby Altman making fun of Kevin Love's anxiety issues on The Jump

Yeah that Flair comparison is night and day. Flair definitely portrayed himself as a dude who gets all the ladies. Paige in zero way portrays that, people only know she dated a lot of different dudes and had multiple sex videos leak, so to say “she probably has kids she doesn’t know about” is implying she sleeps around. Sadly, men are cheered for sleeping with a lot of women while women are called names and shamed, so he basically slut shamed her in a public interview. How f***ing embarrassing would that be? How embarrassing would it be for my boss, in front of all my co workers and all our customers, called me out for being fat? I’d be in HR in an instant. Paige didn’t deserve that and the fact I haven’t seen any updates showing an apology is disheartening.

I hope Trips has already called her to apologize.
Hunter, you must think before you speak.

The thing that sticks in my mind was that Raw where most of the roster was stuck in Europe due to the Iceland volcano so Lillian Garcia filled in as ring announcer. Her reward for helping the company at such short notice was Triple H mocking her live on air.

When I listed to the interview my initial reaction was “Wait that’s it?”
Not trying to give Triple H the benefit of the doubt, but it really sounded like he talked himself into a corner and made an awkward joke to get out of it. I think he probably would have made the same dumb joke if he was talking about a male superstar or another female that didn’t have kids (though seriously how does a woman not know they have children?)
However... it was his pause and the laugh when Triple H realized his joke was a tad bit more crude given Paige’s past. For that I feel he owes her an apology. He has to remember he’s the ceo of a multi million dollar company and jokes like that intentional or otherwise are not acceptable.

It is what it is he should know better considering what is out there about her can't exactly blame any female for taking offense to it but maybe he and Paige joke like this together and as a woman she was just having one of those days and decided to take it personally. Paige seems like the type who could take a bit of banter and I don't think Trips would of said it otherwise but he does need to make a apology.

Low-rent joke from him there. Bit of the old Hunter coming out, the smartarse, and not the exec. Definitely owes a major apology to Paige and should apologise publicly as well.

Unless he has examples to offer far more damning than this, I can live without the binary takes. People make bad and ill-advised jokes all of the time without it being a deep insight into some deep prejudice.

Thing is, when you're the boss you can't be making jokes like that in that kind of setting. That's never gonna fly.

Thing is, when you're the boss you can't be making jokes like that in that kind of setting. That's never gonna fly. Not even just a boss, the vice president of talent relations. As in you're a direct line from talent to management. It's literally in the name that you shouldn't be making jokes like that in any setting.

WWE really is a shitty place to work at. Insane schedules, no health insurance, one of the bosses publicly making jokes about you and your sex life.

Trips still makes comments like he's back in the 90's in the Kliq about people. You can put a suit and tie on the guy but the fact of the matter is that inane frat boy mentality he had for decades isn't just suddenly going to leave him. And that's a really bad sign for people who are already fed up with that shit from the guy in charge now, coming from the guy set to take charge in the event Vince can't anymore.
Also shocked The Rock didn't come down on HHH for that, he's very close to Paige and made the movie about her entire run, someone with his pull would shake them if he criticized them for that shit comment.

It was a stupid joke that wouldn't have gotten a second thought if he had made it about a man.
Nohing to see here. Move along.
