Their pitch is terrible because I can't tell what it is supposed to be, and why on earth do these already rich people need that much money to put on a show?
As someone who part runs a new wrestling company, it's actually knocked me slightly sick.

In a nutshell it sounds like total divas but the “real” drama would then be settled in a “fake” match?
Or it would just be totally divas but it showed you the full wrestling matches before cutting away to the behind the scenes stuff? Since it’s not like total dives where the raw or ppv months was months before. This would be edited where both are shown in one episode?

It's not helping that this sounds like too many cooks in the kitchen.

They've got the heaviest hands in production. What if they made him the gigolo of the show?

Stylisticly they clearly want to replicate LU...which if you believe rumors cost 400k an episode to produce which hey looky is what they are asking for to produce an episode....and that was with MGM pockets.
I am admire ambition but unless MGM'esc money is walking through their door they likely aren't getting this the way they want off the ground.

400k to produce a pilot for a show that can then get shopped around is a pretty mammoth yikes, honestly. TV can be very expensive to produce, but that is a lot of money to ask for for a product that can easily mean nothing. There's campaigns that asked for much more, but were focused on offering some kind of tangible good; a game, a film, a finished product of some kind. You can't make an episode one of a wrestling show that feels satisfying as its own self-contained thing, it needs a hook, needs to lay the groundwork for plot lines that can then be paid off on later shows. This step isn't getting a new wrestling show going, it's funding a show that they can then sell around and try to get somebody else to pay money to produce. It's the worst of all worlds.

.....is anyone getting Oaxis vibes....just me? I wouldn't go that far, I feel like they'd actually make something if given money. I still think they should have shot for like, half of this as a budget for what they're talking about.

I'll give them the 400k as soon as my investment in Jarrett's gold scheme puts me well on the green.

Gail's husband is a rich celebrity chef. She should ask him for some money. The key to staying rich is to never spend your own money on stuff like this.

I'm not sure what the drama will be to draw in younger audiances, as all of those gals are almost or over 40 years? If lives of those three was shot 10 to 20 years ago, there might be a program to make.

I forgot about this for a bit.
They're at $60k, 10% of what they list the pilot's cost to be.

I can flip a better burger than Robert Irvine. If FAN's are hungry, you can all come to my once-in-a-lifetime wrestling event (I'll only book one show ever!) when I happen to somehow get myself overseas in couple years, I'll offer free meals and at least pictures of women! The very first donator of 2,50 $ gets executive producer treatment and I'll pay it back.

My favorite thing about their page is that everyone has at least one adjective in a radical font saying how great they are like “impactful” or “passionate”, except for two guys that got “sound designer” and “editor”.
