Let's face it, this thing's gonna be around a while and eventually the trickle of new wrestling will stop. So, in the meantime, the idea has come up of doing watch-alongs of classic wrestling shows, with live discussion threads to go with them, and there's been some early positive signs of people being interested.
Before we actually start this, let's discuss the possible things to put on here. The base of this will obviously be the back catalogue of shows on the WWE Network, but for those who aren't subscribed to it, feel free to join in using a home media equivalent if you have the specific show (although I can't guarantee that times would sync up). Also worth considering would be whether we'd be doing standalone shows or doing a small arc of major shows (for example, Royal Rumble 2001, No Way Out 2001 and WrestleMania 17) to capture ongoing storylines of the time.
Why limit it to PPVs? There's plenty of great RAWs and SmackDowns throughout history that can be included. Why even limit it to just WWE? There's WCW and ECW sitting there too, among others. Hell, it doesn't even have to be a GOOD show. We can spend a couple of hours riffing the shit out of something really dodgy if we want to. There's a whole lot of possibilities we can talk about here... I just need your input to help get this off the ground. Feel free to suggest shows to watch, the right days and times to do them to capture the largest audience, etc.

The highs and low, low, low lows of Starrcade 98 spring to mind.

I don't have the Network any more so later on I am going to see what DVDs I have and let you all know in case anybody is interested in watching one of them.
We could also do some individual Rumble matches as some are on YouTube.

I see some bad shows listed, but how about some great shows? WrestleMania X-7, Survivor Series 2003, SummerSlam 1991...

You’ll regret it.I’ve been doing a random rewatch and I watched it for the 1st time since it happened its a mixture of crappy and dull. The opener is fine and the crowd really loved Ariel’s ass but the rest is hot garbage.

A live watch of the Extreme Elimination Chamber would be fun, but everything between the opener and main event is extremely dull, which is the worst thing for a live watch. I would rather watch a spectacularly bad card like Victory Road 2009 or 2011 instead.
