This line from Pushed to the Moon -- Pff. You guys ever heard of SENDING A MESSAGE?!? reminded me how often I used to hear "battling back" in the early 2000s, but it seems like it fell out of favor at some point, and disappeared like a repo man thief in the night. Ignoring for the moment... - catchphrases for specific wrestlers (apparently it's quite frequently "Boss Time" when Sasha arrives),
- corporate buzzwords ("WWE Universe!")
- and specific commentator's trademark calls ("Whottamaneuver!")
Let's make a statement, by put the locker room on notice about sending a message that these WWE commentary "verbal rest holds" are gone but not forgotten..
so.. 1. Battling back (RIP... mid '00s?) 2. Making a statement (still around?) 3. Putting the locker room on notice (?) 4. Sending a message (retired as many times as Terry Funk?)
Anyone have any others?

I haven't heard Cole talk about rolling people onto their belly recently...
but I think he only did that for the Walls of Jericho.
I haven't really watched but is he still talking about hitting people... RIGHT IN THE SKULL

I swear I've heard multiple announcers use these lines.
"He got damn near torn in half!"
"I've never seen ANYONE manhandle the Undertaker like that before!"
"Anything can happen in the WWE!"

“Come on referee. Do your job.” (Also retired in the early 90s)

I don't think educated feet has been said in the WWE but that might be more of a JR thing.

Wow, I've been out of the loop for a while, that's a great list -- "Like a car crash!" "A demolition derby!" "Business is picking up!" "What does he/she have in store for us tonight?" "X's title could be in jeopardy!" "I was talking with X in the back, and he/she says they're not here to make friends, they're here to win." "The crowd is on their feet!" Knocked him off...what the f does that mean Cole He thinks the ring is a pirate ship? "But it's not a pirate ship -- no matter how much you want it to be!" [/old-NXT improv-promo + yacht persona] I don't think educated feet has been said in the WWE but that might be more of a JR thing. I love that one -- did it really get said about people other than RVD? That's AWESOME if so. (Oh yeah, I vaguely remember maybe they said it about Tajiri too?)

I can vividly remember Big Show's hands being frying pans, bowling balls, and catcher's mitts on various occasions

Foreign object and its lame cousin international object. I thought it was some kind of joke when WCW starting saying international object but it was some over sensitive attempt to be PC when it was not required. I have never heard anybody say for example "I need to remove this international object from your eye"

I thought it was some kind of joke when WCW starting saying international object but it was some OTT attempt to be PC when it was not required. I have never heard anybody say for example "I need to remove this international object from your eye" I barely believed "international object" when I saw it mentioned in "Death of WCW". They quite clearly just picked up a thesaurus...but got the wrong meaning of "foreign" That'd be like, "Undertaker was declared the winner when Giant Gonzalez was ruled unqualified to be in his present position because of his use of cloroform." Wait, that definition also works..
