Wow, NXT did 673,000. Basically a tie, though AEW was easily ahead in 18-49.

TNT title match shouldnt main event anymore. I would have went with FTR vs. Butcher and The Blade or Best Friends vs. Inner Circle

"F*** The Ratings!" TNT title match shouldnt main event anymore. Maybe don't push Hager that much either.

Yeah the TNT Title main eventing was a mistake here, it was way too predictable a result. I get they wanna push the title and all but the match was without a shadow of a doubt and it's been proven main events with a predictable finish kill AEW. The show clearly needed to end with Jericho beating Cassidy down. Need to see the ratings breakdown for the night.
NASCAR also didn't help probably but at least the demos are still good. Tag Title Match needs to main event this week clearly, open with the TNT title and start hot

Last week 15,000 people separate AEW and NXT.
This week it was 4,000. It'll be interesting if NXT can close and surpass AEW again on the couple of occassions it has. Whenever they do it seems like something happens to break that trend like Christmas break or Coronavirus.

I understand they dont want to blow through all the match ups. But you gotta put more competitive matches then they did last night. You didn't have Mox, Jericho, Omega, Page, MJF, Archer, Cage, Brodie Lee, Matt Hardy, Darby, Dustin,Wardlow etc wrestle. You gotta use your talent better then this.
They are trying to protect too many wrestlers and not having enough competitive matches. In 2020 Mox, Jericho, Cody, Omega, Page, MJF, Lee, Archer, Hardy, Cage, Hager, Pac, Wardlow, Spears have 0-2 loses on the year. While Darby is 6+3, you can't protect that many guys and have entertaining weekly tv. Yes protect your top 5 guys or whatever. But it's ok to have some guys with 50/50 records or losing records. As long as you give them big clean wins from time to time still. You can't keep putting on tv shows in 2020 with top guys in squash or vs undercard guy every week or multi-man tag matches. Then expect to get a good rating or ratings to go up. Know your guys and where you want them on the card for now. Then book the show off that and adjust depending on who's over or not.

The show was good for what it was but so many talent was just side lined. Archer hasn't wrestled since the PPV and until the crowd shot, first time we saw him in person since the PPV. He lost and now sitting there doing nothing? Have Archer wrestle more. The ME has to be a higher profile match. Its a bad idea to have a ME be Cody against a half a tag team. Cody is fine ME if he facing someone on the same level. You had all these big players there. The show itself was good but the ratings showing the lack of star power. They appeared but fans want them in the ring.

Well next week we have Omega, Page, Cody, The Bucks, MJF, Jericho, among others in action confirmed, plus the development of the entire card has been fairly impressive with the storylines going on, so I'm hoping they can rebound from this.

Nothing has mattered the last two weeks
They did not really set anything up well after the PPV besides Mox/Cage

If TNT title match main events again, then I can see NXT finally winning.

Do you guys think it will bump back up when they can go back to having full live crowds? Not gonna lie, I havent watched "live" since all this madness began. Guess I never realised how important a live crowd was. I know that probably sounds terrible, but it's just my personal taste when watching.
Also (you dont have to go in full, full detail) but are there still elements of talent and staff that are unable to be on TV for any reason? Seems like I heard there were a few wrestlers and the like that were still having to be at home.

Seems like I heard there were a few wrestlers and the like that were still having to be at home. The women's division has been seriously damaged (and it wasn't exactly strong), but as of last night, the only male absences that matter are Pac and Pentagon. Nothing to write off, since they were just starting a big angle, but not exactly the reason for a big downturn.

At less PAC had a few video promos. Pentagon I thought he been back since Fenix was. The show last night did set up a lot for the two week PPVish event. Cody facing Hager in that. Moxley and Cage. Plus looks like we may get Jericho vs. Cassidy. Tag title match was also announced. But the male side been about 80% there appearing.

They have two more weeks to build to what is essentially a free PPV so hopefully that helps. And once Fyter Fest comes around, things should rebound. If not, that could be a bad sign but I have faith in them.
