When AEW was doing it I was saying why aren't they having people out there in mask and gloves just to continue to drive home the severity of everything; Here might be the answer; The f***?

You literally advertise your mask on social media. What’s better advertising then actually having the crowd wear your mask

f*** this company, f*** AEW and f*** every other corporation who has endangered employees (labeled as "essential") because they think money is more important than human lives.

I remember seeing people insisting WWE was definitely taking every precaution and regularly testing people because of course they would be on top of this and do the responsible thing. And I know it's a strained definition of 'we' at this point, but we really got to stop giving this company any benefit of the doubt. They keep finding new ways to indefensibly do things the worst way and excuses or assumptions keep being made in their benefit.

f*** this company, f*** AEW and f*** every other corporation who has endangered employees (labeled as "essential") because they think money is more important than human lives. Honestly to me this is way more on WWE, and Florida, but really this is WWE's ball they've dropped. WWE wouldn't even allow people in the tapings to wear masks, it seems clear they were forcing most people to be there at this point, and according to Alvarez THEY WEREN'T EVEN DOING ACTUAL COVID TESTS, even at this point, where there are more widely available. He was reporting they were doing temperature checks and that's it. They were playing with fire and got burned for doing the absolute bare minimum. I hope it doesn't get worse and nothing else happens to any other current running company, but with all the shit that is coming out, for a multi-million dollar company, Vince sure sounded like he didn't give a rat's ass about this, to the point the wrestlers found out the same time as we did when the news broke, OVER A WEEK LATER. That's just f***ed on so many levels. With UFC, Boxing, NASCAR, Impact, NJPW, and AEW I at least get varying notions of safety, communication, and understanding between who is choosing to compete there. WWE feels like a complete disjointed mess, and the fact they have to rely on dirtsheets reporting this over their own staff and boss after days of potentially being exposed to COVID is just... it would really make me rethink the future of my employment frankly. More so now than ever.

I know they won't but some sort of government official needs to shut this down. But it's Florida so that won't happen. Remember, the governor received 18.5 million reasons why WWE should be considered an 'essential business'* *allegedly (that covers me legally, right?)

Banning people from wearing masks seems like a Vince move. Which is amazing, because the idea of a man afraid of sneezing and who puts up f***ing imaginary force fields as sneeze guards thinking that wearing a mask to avoid spreading disease is a sign of weakness or bad TV is one of those perfectly encapsulating moments of madness that words can't being to address.

God damn, every time I open this thread there’s a new update about how WWE have seemingly done literally nothing.

God damn, every time I open this thread there’s a new update about how WWE have seemingly done literally nothing. It's not only that they've done nothing it's that they've done negative amounts. Workers finding out the same time the world did over a week after potentially being exposed? Being told NOT to wear masks, not actually COVID testing? Just... woof man. You'd think they'd want to do everything they can to at the very least put on the front that they care but it feels like they don't even care about CARING anymore. Vince just thinks he can strut through a firing range at this point.

f*** this company, f*** AEW and f*** every other corporation who has endangered employees (labeled as "essential") because they think money is more important than human lives. AEW at least tests people before seeing if they're in any shape to compete or show up. New Japan looks to be doing the same. WWE has done jack shit

It's absolutely true that there's no safe way to reopen anything that involves athletic competition at this point, outside of maybe tennis matches given how far the competitors can stand from one another.
But it's also true that those that are attempting to reopen can do a lot to at least mitigate risk: quarantines, a thorough testing and tracing regime, keeping time spent in close contact to a minimum (e.g. don't expect to see communal shower use in a lot of team sport locker rooms for awhile), etc.
The WWE stands out pretty sorely right now as the group that's "tried nothing, and we're all out of ideas", which is bullshit because as a promotion they have plenty of money to keep up consistent testing or to have their talent stay some place where they can minimize outside contact, like a decent hotel.

Dana White saw sense to move UFC out of Florida as soon as he could. Based on recent spikes, I can see WWE and AEW getting shut down soon unless they find alternative locations.

This is a new low for them and the worst part is, I'm not even shocked. FYI, we need to order a new palette of stamps & inkpads, y'all. We're down to the last few left and you can't see the "this is a new low for the WWE" as clearly anymore. And since these idiots insist on us constantly needing to use them..... If we need to expense it thru a department or do that financial wrangling, just tell them the E in WWE is starting to look like an F...... they'll push that purchase order right thru ASAP.

Listened to the video Meltzer and Alvarez put up from their show today - not letting PC talent wear masks because it ruins the look of the product? Then you look at New Japan, NOAH and DDT, people with masks all over the place. New Japan even take a break for disinfection!
Vince is completely out of it, and I'll be very surprised if this is the last positive case they have the way this is going.

WWE Battle Isle and UFC Fight Island @ Abu Dhabi presents "UNIVERSAL COLOSSEUM", only on Pay-Per-View. Yes, there will also be cock fights and The Real Lion's Den! Plus Hunger Games.

f*** this company, f*** AEW and f*** every other corporation who has endangered employees (labeled as "essential") because they think money is more important than human lives. From what I understand both AEW and Impact are actually doing things like testing employees (even if not 100% accurate) taking temperatures before every show and making this voluntary l. Even if you dont agree with having shows they have taken some steps WWE has required wrestlers to stay till after midnight for tapings, yelled at the wrestlers for not being enthusiastic enough, and retaped stuff to get people excited.

It’s like these companies and politicians are basically daring fate and wanting to get it. Don’t understand it and honestly, I wish someone would step in.

Banning masks is ridiculous. I’ve said before I don’t mind WWE/AEW doing shows as long as they take the necessary precautions. Not sure about AEW but WWE seems to be doing nothing and hoping for the best. That’s negligent and somewhat insane. They’ve been taping since the pandemic started. Who knows how bad this could be if talent actually got tested. Reigns getting the hell out of there was very smart on his part.

You'd have thought them having Reigns and Miz pull out on the day of the WrestleMania tapings and Zayn later on (with Reigns and (probably) Zayn not coming back until this situation is completely resolved) because of fears related to this would have gotten them to set their shit straight. But I guess it's more important that their precious crowd shots aren't compromised in any way. And now there's the possibility there's not even gonna be a show for there to be a crowd to cut to if this shit has spread through the locker room.
