Anybody can be a victim. If you're a victim, you are not alone.
Great for Keith to speak out and come forward.

That's horrible. Really goes to show how this can happen to anybody.

I would never have expected someone the size of Keith to be a victim. Really puts things in perspective.

I would never have expected someone the size of Keith to be a victim. Really puts things in perspective. Remember, Terry Crews was a victim.

This one hits really hard; Lee is reportedly a sweetheart and has been kicking himself over not being able to help/protect abuse victims in the lockerroom and then to find that he himself is a victim of sexual assault just breaks my heart.

Keith Lee may be one of the few genuinely good guys in wrestling.

Anyone can be a victim, but I feel like it'd be overlooking an important aspect of this story to not acknowledge that, with unfortunate frequency, many black men, especially big ones, are very fetishized. I'm not talking about someone just dating them or something, but treating them as sex objects. It's disgusting, and it's often overlooked.
It's extremely messed up that this happened to him, but being targeted for that, if that was indeed a motivating factor, tacks on another level of dehumanization.

Size, muscle, athletics, popularity. None of that matters. Anyone can be a victim.

Lee's a great soul, and a lot of dudes as big as him would never come out and say it for fear they'd be blasted for not being tough; it's been talked about in othe places, but male victims of sexual assault have a lot of problems further keeping them quiet rooted in some pretty noxious issues of masculinity and views on sex in general. Good on him for being willing to talk about it.

That's a hell of a gut punch. Probably more than any of the other stories. It's one thing to hear one of your favorites is a predator, it's another to hear they're a victim.
Keith Lee's a guy who is just genuinely likeable both in and out of the ring, and impossible not to root for. From all accounts I've heard of him, he's in Owen tier of being nice guy behind the scenes. The type of bravery it takes for him to admit something like this is breath taking too, and we need more men to come forward like this to show men that it doesn't make them weak to be victimized and that you don't need to be ashamed of it.
He's a guy the company should build around. He's a good wholesome man who will be an absolute gem with PR.
God bless Keith Lee.

Stories like this are why I always take my drink with me. Regardless of who's buying.
I know its not as serious as Keith's story but a few months back, I was approached by these two women at a club and one of them kept pestering me to make out with her friend and be her "first kiss"... I politely declined but they were practically begging me to do it and trying to make me feel bad for declining. I still said no. I bought her a drink which I definitely shouldn't have but I felt it was more polite than just leaving the table. She then saw me standing around and proceeded to follow me around the place asking where I went and then tried it on with me again.
Sounds innocent I know but I felt really uncomfortable at the time. It wasn't a normal "I'm hitting on you because I fancy you" encounter, it was more like "Oh kiss this guy. He will let you"... That's the part that made me uncomfortable. I almost felt like I wasn't even a person, as weird as it sounds.

It goes to show you between Keith, AEW's Evil Uno, and Terry Crews that anyone can be a victim of sexual assault, no matter their size or gender. And, unfortunately, male victims of sexual assault are taken even less seriously than female victims (and that's a really low bar to begin with), especially when the offender is a woman.

If it were just Hogan saying this about Patterson, I'd be skeptical. It's not.

To add on to that as a large man in general and especially a large Black man you have to always control yourself, if he DID find the lady who did that to him, the SECOND he raised his voice at her in public people would automatically label you the bad guy in that situation/call the police

For instance in the UK a man being forced to have a sex with a woman isn't classified as rape. www.bbc.co.uk/news/stories-49057533

Good luck to Keith. It can genuinely happen to anyone. When I was at uni, a house party was in its 5am alcohol collapse stage when I had to fight off the rather direct advances of a gay chap who was a bit handsy. Being 6 foot 2 at the time I was able to push them off and admonish them for not taking a no or ten. Because we were all young and daft this actually became a running joke in our friends group at the time but looking back, none of us would have found it at all funny had it been one of the women in our group.
