The Wheel of Fortune scene where Stan's dad mispronounces 'naggers' is perhaps the funniest thing I've ever seen on South Park. That was priceless. What a great episode.

I wouldn't say it jumped the shark yet, but if I had to pick a potential point, it would be Garrison's sex change, he was so funny as the ultra-gay guy, now I just don't care for the character at all

I just like it when the show is based around the characters in the town, not around real world events or satire.

Tell me you didn't laugh when he said "Just look at all these tampons!"

I've had friends who have switched orientations for various reasons, but none of them were THIS confounding.

Also, according to wikipedia, they stopped killing Kenny "due to their feeling creatively boxed-in by the requirement to kill Kenny in each episode."
Are they waxing kidding me ?? At each and every episode, I could think of at least 3 or 4 ways Kenny could get killed without it "boxing-in" any creativity ! For example, that episode in which Stand and Kenny want their money back because they didn' t like "The Passion" and Mel Gibson starts shooting at them. Would it have been that hard to make one of the bullets enter Kenny' s head ?
I want my "Oh my God ! They killed Kenny !" back !!
And seriously, Trey Parker and Matt Stone lacking ideas ? When you made a Mormon become Captain Orgazmo ?? pheew.
And if they really don' t want to kill him anymore, at least make him DO something !

Kenny is used...for Cartman's white poor trash impoverished insults. Besides, Stone and Parker got tired of having to make room for Kenny getting rubbed out. Believe it or not, people get tired of pulling the same schtick and want to change. Besides, those guys could make Kenny get killed again, if only for a REALLY good spot. As for the fool that earlier wrote that the kids were stupid for believing that the whale had a home palace on the Moon....have you WATCHED the show?!? The kids have visited aliens more than once, fought Mega-Streisand, they went into space on an alien planet, had a friend thta was a singing piece of poop, fought zombies....so yeah, considering all the insane s*it they've seen, why WOULDN'T they believe the whale insanity? People just lack logic and continuity on these boards it seems.

Can someone explain what the deal was with the PSP episode? I only saw it once but I didn't laugh at all which is rare for me & South Park. Was it just a blatant product placement infomercial?

It tied into the "Right to Die" debate that was raging at the moment concerning Terry Schaivo. That, and it was essentially a commercial for the PSP.

He had a hand puppet who told him to kill Kathie Lee. 'nuff said.
