How about Abyss? A masked monster that at times seemed to be a Kane and/or Mankind ripoff, who may or may not have been fathered by James Mitchell and was under the medical care of Stevie Richards. Then, he got superpowers from wearing Hulk Hogan's ring. Eventually, he seemed to disappear and his large, oafish brother, mild-mannered lawyer Joseph Park (or Parks, depending on who made up the graphics that week) went looking for him, only to turn to actually be Abyss. Basically, Abyss is an attitude-era monster cosplayer who may have superpowers and moonlights as a moderately-successful attorney. Reading this made me realize that I don't think Vince Russo has ever Russo'd up anybody's career as badly as he Russo'd up poor Chris Parks career.

Hacksaw King Duggan, coming down the aisle with a 2x4, American Flag, Crown and Cape, the All American monarchist! Also pictured with Demolition, adding their leather mask and face paint on top of that! Edit PLUS painting the 2x4 in American colours AND getting it a little crown. Plus his face was painted under it all When I was in middle school around 93-94 I bought the SS 1989 video used from a local video store. Me and my BFF at the time watched it almost every weekend. We thought "walking gimmick stand" Jim Duggan was the coolest thing ever. We were also massive Demolition fans so perhaps we were bias.🤷♂️

Babyface Shawn Michaels who does a striptease routine after his matches and teases showing his penis to excited 14 year old girls. And the only one that was really excited to see Shawn's penis was Vince McMahon who was at ringside shilling his inappropriate male stripper world champion like a mad man to a rapidly dwindling audience.

Rico was a gay martial artist/hair stylist/manager/RAW sleeper agent. Sleeper agent? That's the only one of those that doesn't ring a bell for me.

The team of American Starship, comprised of Coyote and Eagle.... uh, what? Thank you for posting this picture. For years I've known about this team but never actually knew what they looked like. I figured with that name their look would have been way more over the top than this.

It also leaves out the fact that they played their hand pretty damned early that they were teh same person... but then kept it going as if they weren't for like a year...

Tracy smothers was in the NOD? What did I miss? He was in the USWA version. I went to Wrestlingdata.com to compile who was in it. Tracy Smothers as Shaquille Ali, Spellbinder/Phantasio as Elijah, Reggie B. Fine as Kareem Olajuwon, Miss Texas/Jacqueline as Queen Moesha, Jeff Gaylord as Akeem Hassain, Sir Mo/Mo from M.O.M. as Sir Mohammed, Randy Hales as Randy X, PG-13, Clarence Mason, Brakkus as themselves. PJ Walker/Aldo Montoya as PG-187, and some guy named Akeem Mohammad who doesn't have a profile but used to wrestle as the Big Black Dog...who was a former USWA Moondog. (Looking at YouTube, I don't recognize him as anybody I'd know.) It's as absurd as it sounds. And it was great!

Kane. Just Kane in general. I was just thinking the other day about Kane being three different characters in three different years. In October 1995 he was Isaac Yankem, October 1996 he was Diesel and October 1997 he was Kane. Was the ever another wrestler with that many gimmicks in the many years? Maybe Fatu from 1994-1995 but I think Fatu Headshrinker was supposed to be Fatu M.A.D. I’m not reading through the whole thread, so I assume someone has said it, but Foley had 3 distinct gimmicks on a single show.

Not sure if they said it but with Foley it was a guy who was already over portraying his past gimmicks (his childhood character and ECW/WCW gimmick along with the WWF gimmick). It wasn't a case like Fatu or Jacobs doing a crappy gimmick that wasn't over then moving on to another crappy gimmick that wasn't over.

I'm surprised no one has said Bray Wyatt.
Teleporting hillbilly cult leader with magical powers, who now seemingly resides in the depths of hell inbetween hosting a children's TV show.

The Yeti: a giant man wrapped in toilet paper that broke out of a block of ice and then proceeded to dry hump Hulk Hogan and the Giant on a live PPV in the main event. Why he was dressed like a mummy no one had a clue given Yeti’s are supposedly furry. Then he became a giant ninja for some reason.
Story goes the "mummy" costume was a stop gap. The intention was for the "mummy" to be eventually unwrapped and revealed as Giant Gonzalez.
