Is the mystery opponent likely to be Ciampa? Where on Earth is he? He's home, mostly rehabbing He hit the ground running once he came back from the neck injury and his storylines were all done so they gave him a break. I expect him back shortly tho with a bit of a diff direction on his character

Is the mystery opponent likely to be Ciampa? Where on Earth is he? If it isn’t him, it’s hard to think of who else it could be. There aren’t any big injury returns due (sorry to you Kona Reeves fans out there... FYI, dude did his shoulder back in March), there aren’t any big indie signings in the back pocket to debut here, and I’m not sure anyone else left on the roster that hasn’t had a shot already warrants being such a surprise. Also, it has to be someone that can believably take the fall, to keep Kushida and/or Grimes in contention. Out of the box guess... Rik Bugez.

I would not be against it being Kevin Owens who has admitted to practically begging to go back to NXT and he conveniently has absoloutley nothing to do on the main roster.

It could be I think that is the best way to get Ciampa on Raw or SD but he has resisted so long that I think he is perfectly content with just staying on NXT What f***ed NXT is the ability to not travel which may have them lose talent this year. No doubt they were gearing up for a brief touring schedule where they be on the road 2 weeks out the month before the pandemic hit I've been preaching for months that their next big step is getting on the road and doing small venues on a part time basis to give them a diff feel from RAW and SD but have the talent worth seeing

I would have them work different coasts....if Raw and SD are in the NorthEast have NXT down in Cali and vice versa.

I would have them work different coasts....if Raw and SD are in the NorthEast have NXT down in Cali and vice versa. It will also help starve off those who don't want to be on RAW or SD Like a guy like Keith Lee has no choice. He should go to RAW or SD because that man deserves to be made at Mania with a match against Roman. However, that appeal probably isn't all that to guys like Ciampa or Gargano who want to build NXT to the heights of RAW/SD one day You also have the vets like Finn who could return and not have the hectic schedule no more. I'm sure that would appeal to others like Shinsuke, Asuka, KO etc and just in general you give them a breather NXT should and will tour one day whenever the pandemic ends but that's the only thing holding them back. Would make those FL loops a lot more meaningful for the PC talent too
