Dude made 23 tackles in just two games with the Patriots. Not sure how many people kicked out of the Pounce but his should be instant death in a match.

I think the Impact Zone were the first ones to chant "one more time" in direct reference to the Pounce. Then whatever poor jobber was in there would have to eat a second Pounce to the delight of the crowd and myself watching at home.
I also recall Road Dogg during the N.A.O. shoot interview saying that the Pounce "hurts like hell because you can't control your own bump."

Sabu's taking of that bump has to be one of the highlights of WWECW.

Would have liked to see Monty hit The Pounce on a legit heavyweight opponent, someone like Yokozuna or Umaga.

a great movie and probably quite difficult to pull off, given that both are moving in different directions also the massive distance the poor sod who's on the end of it flies

I love things that are simple, but effective.
The Pounce meets that criteria. Since Monty is effectively retired, it'd be cool if Will Hobbs or some other raw-boned hoss picked it up.

Sabu's taking of that bump has to be one of the highlights of WWECW. He took some great pounces in TNA as well.

Sabu's taking of that bump has to be one of the highlights of WWECW. I've always thought that the pounce looked way more destructive in the WWE rings.

Yeah, it always looked a bit odd in TNA, because you had the six-sided ring there so he hit it at a different angle. WWE, he hits it right at 90 degrees which is the sweet spot.
