All of those match combos are kinda dull.

No Roman Reigns vs Drew McIntyre kills the show for me. I’m not looking forward to anything else on this card personally. The elimination matches have no stakes and the mid card matches look like trash.

From Day 1 that they started doing Raw VS Smackdown at Survivor Series, I have been saying that the winning team gets #30 in the Rumble or the 1st Draft Pick. But even with no stakes, no brand loyalty, and no original matches except for The New Day VS The Street Profits, I'm still excited for Survivor Series. Maybe it's just because I'm old school & Survivor Series was my favorite PPV as a kid. Also, we all complain that WWE books PPVs at the last minute and they finally announced a card 3 weeks ahead, so we should happy about that. But knowing Vince, he will change something during the Kickoff Show.

Wonder if Raw will have a quick title change like Smackdown has done in the past to allow for a better match up of world champs cause they’re ain’t no way In hell Roman is losing his belt before the PPV.

Yeah. That women's elimination match is a complete dumpster fire so far. Good god. Indeed, that RAW team is a rough slog outside of Baszler. SmackDown’s team likely won’t be that much better (I’m guessing that will be Belair, Natalya, Riott Squad and either Carmella or Bayley, depending on if Bayley is actually having some time off or not after dropping the belt, like I’ve heard some rumours of).

This is why I am not completely sure this is the final card because this was so hastly announced and considering how horribly put together the Hell in Cell card was that there has to be changes to SVS...wheather that be title changes or NXT getting involved idk. Would not surprise me if they rushed out this announced card just to gauge how people would react to it.

Put the #30 spots in the men and women's Rumbles on the line and make Street Profits vs. New Day a titles unification match.

I wish the teams were mixed with guys from each brand. I wish the card was all elimination matches like back in the day.

The official theme as announced on Smackdown tonight. I love AC/DC but this might be their most generic song yet.

Between the Smackdown theme and now this year’s SurSer theme, is AC/DC WWE’s new favorite band?

I'll say this much for them, it's refreshing to see a relatively low representation of really f***ing old guys in the men's matches. No Brock, no Taker, no Hunter, no Angle, no Shane.
If they're brave enough - and they aren't - they will let Roman annihilate Orton. It could be a long match, but it should be definitive. They've given that shine to people Roman has beaten before, Orton has given that rub to many people before, why not give it to him? Orton has the most over finisher in the company, he can always get his heat back.
However the middle of the card demonstrates how exhausting watching WWE is. We are once again in a position where we have Asuka vs. Sasha. I'm sure that will be an excellent match, and Asuka may be the greatest female talent they've ever had. But the fact they are the champions of their divisions still shows how insanely shallow the bench is in those two divisions, but also what a joke Sasha's booking has been that this is the first time it was a remote possibility she would be in this position despite having been a champion so many times. And then Sami vs. Booby (sic) again. I know they are both very different, much more motivated and relevant characters now than they were when they were feuding over their sisters, but uh...
So we're getting all this repititious shit, when they have the greatest roster in wrestling history. And this is when it's an improvement!
I will say, I'm pretty much always down for a Survivor Series match, like a Rumble or a tournament; when I was still watching WWE, this show was a must-watch for me.

I don't understand why they did the brand vs. brand thing this year. The build has just been terrible. Because of their COVID rules, they're not letting the brands actually feud with each other before the show. The teams are made up of a bunch of dudes who've been on their show for just a few weeks so it doesn't really mean anything. The teams themselves are just feuding with each other. The matches they're billing may change a few days before the show. You have plenty of existing feuds that could lead to some Survivor Series matches. Everything just feels like it's in a holding pattern for a show that will be meaningless the day after.

Yeah if October drafts are here to stay then I think they should revert back to a traditional Survivor Series PPV with each brand having their own elimination matches and title matches on the show. Then just bring back Bragging Rights for June or July to keep the interbrand PPV going.
