Otis announced for team Smackdown. Despite losing a qualifying match. Damn that was a lazy announcement.

Although it was funny when Gable was there and he was like "Yeah, we did it, Otis, because you listened to me"... Mate, your pairing only started last week and that one promo was all we'd seen of it.

Feels like WWE doesn't know what to do with him at the moment after the New Day split, since he's really just been hanging out with the Street Profits backstage lately.

If they want to make this Undertaker thing special, they should have him come out as the Deadman, then have him cut a promo like the American Badass. Drop the kayfabe this time around.

Sucks Rhea wasn't the fifth member of the SD team. I wanted to be able to say, "THIS IS MY BLUETALITY!"

Chalk this up to not having fans in attendance but I think this Survivor Series needs real stakes to be compelling. Otherwise this is just Bragging Rights.
Also make it so that the survivors of the traditional matches get a title shot. So, if there are two people left on Team RAW for example the title match is a triple threat. Or a fatal fourway. Or even just one on one. That could add intrigue. The last match that had intrigue that I can recall off the top of my head was when Michaels was fighting for Austin's job. And he went all out in that match.
This could also be a good time to consolidate the men's tag team titles. I can understand with FOX and USA wanting their own sets of titles, but there's too much ambiguity in the tag scene to justify two sets of titles. Same with the women's championship match.
There's literally nothing different between RAW and SmackDown nowadays too with the aesthetic pretty much the same and no authority figures. You could just about buy it in 2005 (different sets, egomaniac vs. fan friendly GM, etc.), it just contains no relevance now. Is there anybody that has been active for the 4 years since the initial draft and stayed on a show?
This show in particular, nobody on the men's RAW team was on RAW prior to SummerSlam. Why do they care about the red shirt now? If the magic of the split is so faded they could have a trophy or some sort of prize to give it a little meaning.

What major moment do you think we will see that leads to Wrestlemania? There is always at least one. You have to assume the Taker retirement won't go down smoothly right? Surely there'll be some sort of shenanigans leading to one last match.

Heβs been pushing hard in his media appearances (of which there have been a lot) that he is completely done and this is a real βfarewell.β Said he felt like an 85-year old man after shooting the Boneyard match and is really done this time. Could be a swerve but Iβm leaning that itβs not.

Yeah I know he's been going hard with the out of character stuff and a big media run but I just feel like a smooth celebration would be SO underwhelming. I wouldn't rule out some cinematic nonsense with the Fiend at Mania or something but you might be right.

Yeah I agree I would prefer one last angle with Fiend or even Kane but Iβm prepared to be underwhelmed on that front. Still could be a nice Flair-esque sendoff.

I talked my wife into watching this with me tonight. I'm assuming I'll be served divorce papers in a couple of days.
Also, I look forward to wishing the Undertaker farewell for the 19th time.

I've spent entire minutes staring at this point while a steady dread creeps over me and the waves of realization shake me to my core. You're not joking are you.
