...the Off Topic Edition.
I'll start with a tabloid article predicting Batman Returns would involve Batman and Robin, with an expecting Vicki Vale, being up against the Penguin, Catwoman...and the Riddler and a revived Joker.
Only I seem to recall this shareware Mac game, Fred Rogers : Terrorist.
Now here's another stumper....I remember this Disney picture book about Mickey and his friends going on a picnic...no, it was not the Golden Book. This one made reference to a place called Morgan's Meadow, which nursery school me became obsessed with and after reading the book, I kept making up stories about the same Meadow.

I remember a television show called “Hamburger”.
It was a variety/sketch comedy that was on for a very short time in the early to mid 70’s. My sister and I would watch it in our grandmother’s room (along with Lawrence Welk). I don’t think it lasted more than a few episodes because even very young me could see how bad it was. The only thing that I remember clearly was when they faded in and out of commercials there was a voiceover that said, “Hammm-Brrrrr-Grrrr”.

A McDonalds safety ad, done like their "we do ron ron ad" but about safety at home.
It featured a singing bottle of poison

Shaker Fries at McDonalds.
You buy fries and get a flavoured salt pack, either BBQ or Sour Cream'n'Onion. You dump the fries and the salt in the burger back and shake'em'up. The salt coats the fries and they were delicious.

Take the fries and the flavor pack, put them in the McDonald’s bag and shake them up. You can also do it with chicken McNuggets.

You can't be the only one who remembers something if someone else put it on YouTube.

I have found them in vending machines, but that was years ago. There are some made under the TGI Fridays branding that are similar, in several flavors. Also on the chips front were Pizzerias. They were Doritos style chips that were made from pizza dough instead of corn or potatoes. They came in all the normal pizza flavors and were really good.

My small video rental place (which slowly morphed into a pawn shop aisle by aisle) had loads of weird shit I've never seen anywhere else.

This is the only forum where I mentioned watching Spacecats and somebody else was like "Me too". I've never met somebody in real life that even knows what I'm talking about.
That themesong was great.

Keebler only licensed them from the real makers they stopped at some point and the company that makes them went to TGI Friday's. So the Keebler Tato Skins and the TGI Friday's ones are the same. But TGIF only have the Bacon and Cheese variety. I remember the Pizzerias too now that you mentioned them... I didn't remember them being made of Pizza Dough but yeah...

I have vague memories of a bizarre TV movie from the '80s called Microcops - one of those that was obviously a pilot for a series that didn't get picked up and got aired as midseason filler instead - about two police officers from a planet of flea-sized people who travel to Earth in a tiny spaceship to catch a criminal, and befriend an Earth man who assists them on their case.

Okay, that sounds awesome and now I want to see that.

The salt coats the fries and they were delicious. I recall in or around the mid-00's McDonalds sold a Cheesesteak and it was absolutely horrible. But nobody else I ever talk to remembers it and it never shows up in any of those "ten worst/forgotten/infamous McDonalds/fast food items" lists that populate YouTube. Was it a regional thing? Also for TV shows, I vaguely remember a sitcom from the late 80's or very early 90's about a Nun who takes over an orphanage. The orphans include a girl in a wheelchair and another teenage girl who's an underage smoker. I want to say it was Saturdays on NBC as I remember it being in a programming block with The Golden Girls, but I could be wrong. Nobody else I talk to has any memory of this show.
