I seriously never thought in a million years that he would win on a cash in.
That is SHOCKING.

It’s like that one Cleveland Browns game where they reviewed a play after the next one had already happened after it and overturned it, except this time the Cleveland guy got up.

HELL YES!
This cash in NEEDED to be a success, the case would have had too much of a stink on it if it had failed

The current WWE Champion has only won a single one on one match in the past year before tonight (the one where he beat Otis).

I did not want Miz anywhere near a world title but that was so well done. The little hint with Miz and MVP was good. You knew what was coming. It's going to be a short reign anyway with Lashley squashing him tomorrow night or at Fastlane.

Shoutout to Miz man lol. I can't be mad at him. He's done everything they've asked over the past 10 years and kept pushing and eventually he became champ again. Sure he ain't gonna hold the belt for long but hey, that's another one in the books for him.
That's dedication! (Nipsey voice)

And just like his first cash in damn that sucks. Miz should have won between 2016-2017 when he was on fire. Now besides Kevin Owens he’s the most stale person in the WWE. Wonder where this is going in to Mania.

As I said in the other thread, this feels like when Sheamus cashed in on Roman and lost the title 2 weeks later
Bigger story is Lashley demolishing Drew and Drew will get the title back and that looks like the Mania feud or feud for after Mania

In isolation I'm glad to hear Miz won, but after him talking endlessly about how he'd cash in tonight, the preshow panel talking about how he was cashing in so who won didn't matter, and then effectively doing the exact same thing with Bryan and Reigns, this is really, really poor storytelling. You don't just keep telling people something is inevitable and then it happens with zero wrinkles.

I can't really be mad. This will be one of those 'better for my overall mental health' not to watch periods.
Which is fine. I personally think is garbage but that's my sole opinion, if your Rockin with it, enjoy the ride.
Here's to AEW Revolution *cheers*

Imagine the look on his face maybe tomorrow night as he realizes part of the deal with Lashley helping him is Lashley getting the first title shot against him.

I don't mind it. Yeah, Miz has been kind of a stale character for a while, but I can at least see that changing with the title win in some capacity, especially after it seemed so likely he'd fail. This has me moderately curious.
Don't think he'll keep it long, but at least this is fresher than "let's give him like 3 more IC title wins."

If that happens I called that shit! lmao So Miz is going to promise Lashley the First match as champ like a dumbass and lose at Fastlane to Bobby and than Bobby beats Drew clean a Mania.

The Browns did make the Playoffs last season. I was thinking of one I saw in some random YouTube video from like the early 2000s or something. EDIT: Ah, it was actually a game of enough significance to get a Wiki page: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bottlegate

Another thing, anyone notice that the way Miz cashed in was exactly the same as before? Did the same moves, same sequences, hell even physically he looked like an older version of the old him down to his mannerisms and such. It's done that way on purpose which is pretty interesting to me.

And the case has been treated like trash so it needed a fresh cash in It fit the Miz character so everything worked out perfectly in that regard
