This looks so fun.
The original TMNT arcade game was the first game I pumped quarters into on a regular basis as a kid, And Turtles In Time is the main reason I begged for a SNES for Christmas until my mom almost went insane lol.

Next to be revealed as playable: I want her ending to be the Chun Li shower scene... When I wrote my fifth TMNT novella, I made damn sure to include a scene where she surprised Don wearing only a bath robe...no glasses, hair down...(drools) Teenage Mutant Sex Turtles?

April's got a butt attack and a literal Mic Drop, this game can not come out soon enough for me. I love how she has one of Chun-Li's moves and uses her camera to beat the shit out of the Foot Ninjas. Apparently most of her moves are from SF3.

I resisted the urge, just a little bit of fanservice and the rest was Donatello being a friend and repairing a toy she had. They do end up together by the end of it, but nothing kinky.

Bring back Venus, you cowards. that is literally never happening as long as Laird has any kind of input. He hated the next mutation and Venus that much... and kinda took it mostly out on Venus... As an aside that opinion isn't quite fair because after watching Phelous' episode by episode recap of Next Mutation it turns out that Venus was the least of that show's problems.

Incidentally, for those really looking for something to play until the game comes, I highly recommend downloading the free fan game, TMNT Rescue-Palooza:
Not only is it a great tribute to the early Turtles games, but the roster of playable characters is absurd (basically every notable character from the TV show, video games, and comics up to about 1995). Fantastic experience, with loads of fanservice moments all throughout.

He hated the next mutation and Venus that much... and kinda took it mostly out on Venus... there are other female turtles they could use... I think there some were even in the 90s cartoon canon. otherwise Mona Lisa the lizard girl is there Which is a non-issue anyway since Laird sold the franchise a decade ago, so he doesn't really have a say anymore. In fact, it's a large part of why we got all the old characters back ever since including for this very game. Laird never really liked the old cartoon and always vetoed the characters from appearing in TMNT media. If anything is keeping Venus from reappearing, it's her reputation.

Really nice. Surprised about Splinter sooner than Casey, but not unpleasantly so. I do hope we get Casey, maybe throw in a surprise like Slash or Mondo Gecko or something, or the Fugitoid, but Splinter and April are both excellent choices.

I wonder if they can make a deal with Stan Sakai to get Usagi in the game.

Question about the fan game that was posted:
As someone who plays PS4 and a retro console a little , but doesn't do PC gaming, how does one go about playing a game like this? I honestly have no clue how to play fan made games I see online and stuff.

On the website/s I saw it on, you basically download a zip file, once finished unzip the program.exe or install.exe (I can't recall if it needed an installation or not), and then you can play it. It is compatible with most USB controllers, though keyboard controls can work as well.

The VOs of the 1987 TV show will be giving their voices to this game, as shown in the 11 minutes of footage above.

Always good to see those games that have real fan love put into creating them.
Kinda interesting that they're nearly always beat 'em up games too, funnily enough.
