It was a rumour shot down almost as soon as it appeared. Isn’t she court proven to be as abusive and crazy as Depp is? How does she still have a job? She may not be perfect but she was by all accounts the victim. She just happened to fight back sometimes. People need to stop acting like the only abuse survivors that deserve sympathy are super pure perfect people. |

Quite frankly the tapes and evidence presented in court makes neither Heard and Depp look all that flattering. I think her keeping her roles has less to do with being the only innocent party and more because her accusations were out first before the mutually ugly details about their relationship got publicized.

My bad, didn’t even remember saying that. EDIT: taking a situation that seems 50/50 in terms of f***ed upness and acting like I went all Sean Connery. Not f***ing cool or fair. Not what I meant. I was speaking more in general than you in particular. It definitely wasn't a 50/50 thing, either. In had a friend who was regularly beaten by her shitty alcoholic of a husband to the point where he put her in the hospital. Is she just as bad because the only way she could get rid of him was when she finally had enough of his B.S. and pulled a knife on him? |

Depp only lost his job because a court ruled that he was abusive. If his case against Heard next year is ruled in his favour, then there's the likelihood that she will also lose work. Until then studios don't have a lot of legal standing to cut ties with her. |

Man, I really don’t want to get into it too much, but I’ve read up on that whole thing quite a bit and while we can’t know anything for sure, I have reason to think something doesn’t add up with everything, between that obviously staged table of evidence, so many different versions of events and the photographs, I have a really hard time believing we know anything close to the truth. And having experience with seeing close friends in abusive circumstances, seen things happen first hand, I can easily picture either one being the abused party. |

They both seem like people who might be OK in relationships with other people, but when together they were f***ing awful.
Johnny Depp made the mistake though of taking the matter to court, and lost, which put an official seal on his own behaviour.
That's why he gets sacked, and she doesn't.

I liked the first Aquaman movie, I like Jason Momoa as Aquaman, but he is really not pulling off that costume. I genuinely feel they'd be better off going for something more like the characters 90's shirtless look. |
