HCTP - Choke Toss 1 is glitched and hurts you instead of your opponent Another HCTP one would be it still having that HORRIBLE looking press slam that I think was from all the way back in Smackdown 1. I get that they needed to be selective with what moves got updates, but that seems like something that really should have been a little bit more of a priority given how common a move it is.

And then the next year's game had Taker tell Benoit that his grieving family would have no one to blame but him. It depends on the end route you go with, pretty sure he factors into the ECW story. You can play the ECW story as Eddie, which usually means the wrestler isn't featured as a NPC Plus, each wrestler is only in one story. Otherwise, you'd be going on two European tours in each season since that's the replacement angle if your chosen wrestler is in a particular story.

Otherwise, you'd be going on two European tours in each season since that's the replacement angle if your chosen wrestler is in a particular story. Wonder what you get if you play as Triple H as he's heavily featured in the start and end RAW storyline? Not that anyone would ever pick HHH for a season mode

SvR06 is a great game, but I hated that A. they have only the Benoit-style diving headbutt, which sucked for if you wanted to make Bam Bam Bigelow or anyone else who used the regular kind. Not that you really need be concerned, though, because B. making big, wide wrestlers invariably looked terrible. Even if No Mercy wasn't good for making Brock-style build, you at least could make someone, say, Kamala-shaped pretty effectively. Here Comes the Pain story mode for the most part makes you the face in storylines despite having alignments integrated into it. So if your a heel you will have a feud with a face who cheats to try to beat you.

I didn't like how SVR 2006's story mode had me screwed over by Bischoff and Evolution on Raw despite me trying to be a heel. The Smackdown path gave me way more freedom.

You have no idea how excited I was for Classic Undertaker to be in the game and finally get a good tombstone animation .... only for him to walk 3/4 of the way across the ring to pivot in a different direction so your pin ends up on the rope ... and the damage occurs on the pinfall attempt (?!?!)

I randomly gave Nikolai Volkoff Victoria's instrumental theme because I thought it sounded "Russian" enough for him. Imagine if that had been the lyrical theme instead.

SYM and HCTP were great games but it was annoying that the developers couldn't figure out how to make title matches in Exhibition mode.

I know it's nothing major, but it's something that always comes to mind with SmackDown! vs Raw 2008 in terms of things I do like about it: The menus are pretty solid, def in my all time fave list of rasslin game menus.

Since the damage doesn't register until the pinfall attempt it's nearly impossible to break a table with it unless it's against a perfect corner. You CAN break the cell with it which leads to a funny visual of the arms being gently crossed and then immediately teleporting to them falling through

They probably should have had the cross-arm pin be a separate move like some games do, then they could have avoided this problem.
