Man, those LA Knight/Cameron Grimes segments last night were gold. I feel like this is going to be one of those feuds, like Aleister vs. Velveteen Dream a few years ago, where both guys are going to come out of it looking like bigger stars.

I like the subversion of the angle, that being Grimes is too much of an easygoing doofus to know that he’s meant to be humiliated.

I couldn't stand Grimes at first. He's f'ing GOLD to me now. I was already a fan of Knight. This has been fantastic.

I swear this wasn't intentional, y'all.

This has been hella entertaining feud and it seems to just get better.

Grimes should use this strategy in matches. If someone gets him in a choke, just say "HARDER!" and they'll let it go immediately.

Grimes is the best part about NXT. I thought he was generic as hell when I first saw him and the name didn’t help. However, now he is money. I love characters way more than vanilla wrestlers.

I swear this wasn't intentional, y'all. No no, own it, it means missile targeting systems are operational.

I like the subversion of the angle, that being Grimes is too much of an easygoing doofus to know that he’s meant to be humiliated. And I like that he isn't just being goofy because he's goofy now, they actually explained things in a way fits Grimes before this all. Knight trying to embarrass him with these "demeaning" tasks but him not caring because he's done it all before is neat and I kinda want to see how far Knight goes in trying to embarrass him and who end up cracking first.

I swear this wasn't intentional, y'all. To be fair, for maximum effect, it had to be either you or me who started this thread. Nothing else would have been nearly as satisfying.

I assume this leads to a rematch where Grimey wins his freedom after LA Knight snaps because he can’t humiliate him successfully.

They should start one of these skits with LA Knight in full merch sits down at his couch and is like "ahhh now for my daily watch" and puts on his own matches from NXT.

If anyone who's seen _Downton Abbey_ can attest (more wrestling fans that anyone might be willing to admit), Grimes can very easily be ennobled by the service he renders to what is clearly a buffoon with money.
Watch our mixed-fortune NXT general manager find some actual noble blood in our eager butler and push a Prince-and-the-Pauper narrative.

I too like the spin on it. Plus I really like Grimes.
Eventually they should do what they did with the kid, only it ends up being VIRGIL that Cameron talks into doing jobs.
