This reads like something you'd hear in one of those daytime TV ads. I've seen this exact tweet before during the commercial break for The People's Court, sandwiched between an ad for seniors' car insurance and an ad for a grilled cheese maker that has bluetooth functionality. Hey what was the name of that grilled cheese maker?

Interesting that suddenly NOW he cares about helping WWE Employees after his political ambitions tanked faster than an NXT Callup to the Main Roster... I don't think that's fair. He indicated he intended to address the issue if he was Secretary Of Labor, then he didn't get any cabinet position and went in a different way altogether. This wasn't something he suddenly came up with.

I’d love for someone to challenge the WWE wrestler contract in court, because Jim cornette has said that it’s flimsy as f*** and he worked there.

This wasn't something he suddenly came up with. I know it isn't new. I just found the fact that everything Yang had done up to this point didn't seem successful and he had largely lost the popular following he once had... and now he's suddenly doubling back to this subject. Maybe he has good intentions. It'd be nice. I'm just skeptical.

My only guess is perhaps he has a new angle on it that's worth exploring.

I think it's a case of resources more than anything, an individual wrestler they can settle with, or drag it out till they can't afford it, it's only when there' someone rich or stubborn enough to get to a judgement who can challenge it. This needs someone big to step in.

That's really the messed up thing about it to me; everyone knows it's flimsy. If anything, we *need* someone outside the pro wrestling world to fight this who wouldn't be afraid of being blacklisted from WWE. If that's Andrew Yang, great. And I dunno, I like Andrew Yang's ideas. I mean sure, it sometimes reaches to the point of "What if", but there's nothing wrong with wanting to help. Even if it's for selfish reasons (and who knows, honestly), help is help.

Say what you want about Yang, I don’t feel too strongly one way or another about him… but isn’t this a good thing for someone to fight for some sort of union or benefit package for wrestlers? Granted I think this is more than a WWE thing and any non-Indy promotion should look into this

Granted I think this is more than a WWE thing and any non-Indy promotion should look into this Because if he starts something, makes a bunch of empty promises and bails to go on to the next project it'll make it harder for someone who's actually committed when they try, and will likely get people fired in the process. Yang burnt a lot of good will and was kind of exposed in his mayoral bid so people are right to be skeptical.

Yang is not needed for it
