Shouldn’t he be in his twenties or something after escaping the sarlacc? Certainly not 50s…

Shouldn’t he be in his twenties or something after escaping the sarlacc? Certainly not 50s… Canonically he's about 42-43 in the show, which takes place about ten years after A New Hope. Attack of the Clones is set 22 years before A New Hope, and Boba's stated to be ten years old at that point.

Luke was probably only 12 in ANH at this rate. Arid climates tend not to be terribly good for the health of the average person's skin, so I can imagine anybody living on Tatooine ages in dog years. Apart from Cobb Vanth, unless he's only supposed to be 20.

Is there a scene where the sarlacc comically spits him out with a slide whistle sound effect as he flies through the air?

Not yet, but I'm sure the fan edits are being worked on!
This was fine, hope to get more of the ongoing current story next week. Too early to make a judgement on it yet, though it's unavoidably feeling on familiar Mandalorian re-tread ground at the moment.
In retrospect, if they'd known which they couldn't, I reckon they'd have set less of The Mandalorian on Tatooine.

I'm pretty sure that shot of the main corridor of Jabba's Palace where 3PO, R2, and later Luke are seen entering in ROTJ was a still photo taken straight from ROTJ. It seemed off.

This is likely using the same "Virtual Set" technology that The Mandalorian used. Plus filming under Covid conditions. And likely rushing to get the first episode out by that announced "December 2021" window. It wouldn't surprise me if some corners were cut.

Unfortunate patrol that got dragged in probably Why would a patrol go anywhere near a gigantic sand vagina? Stormtroopers aren't known to be the brightest bulbs in the tool shed.

So why was there a random Stormtrooper in the Sarlaac Pit? Probably dropped in there after telling his commander that the two droids that fit the description 100% weren't the droids they were looking for

While it wasn't bad, this is definitely not on par with The Mandolorian S2. I didn't expect to be, though. I feel like Boba's escape and story thereafter would've been a better choice for a AAA video game than a TV series. Just seems tailor-made for something like that with all his gadgets on the suit and the intrigue about his whereabouts. Still, it was cool to see him back in Mando and maybe things will pan out with this one as the show goes on.

Much better second episode. {Spoiler}Still don't care for the disjointed way the episodes are playing out, but I enjoyed the train heist sequence and the continued exploration of Tusken culture.
Plus we finally got to see Tosche Station and meet Camie and Fixer outside of the A New Hope deleted scene.

Some random thoughts on the second episode - {Spoiler}Tale of two stories here. Really liked the start of the episode, the stuff with the Hutt's. Wish they'd have given us more of that. Instead two-thirds of the episode is devoted to the Tusken Raiders flashback, which honestly I'm just not getting into.
When Fennec mentioned the rancor pit I was like "wait, the rancor is still there? Who's been taking care of it?". I really appreciated the fake-out on it.
The episode just felt "there" for me. The story is just going too slow and taking too long to get anywhere, they really need to get in the next gear with this.

Hopefully that means we'll get an Aphra series at some point.
She is CRYING OUT for something live action.

She is CRYING OUT for something live action. {Spoiler} was just coming in here to mention Black Krrsantan!! Was so pumped when he came out I actually yelled out “Holy f***! It’s Black Krrsantan!!”
Also really would love to see Aphra make the jump to TV. Hell, I’d accept an animated series easily
